摘要： PURPOSE:To shield the aperture of a hearth even in any operation stage of a movable beam post provided with a heat shielding plate to cover the aperture in the down position of the movable beam by providing the heat shielding plate which acts similarly in the up position of the movable beam to said beam post. CONSTITUTION:A movable beam post 5 penetrates through a hearth aperture 7 provided to a hearth 6 so as to support a movable beam in a furnace A, is supported to a carriage 8 on the outside B of the furnace and is designed to apply rectangular motion to the movable beam in the furnace A. An upper heat shielding plate 9 covering the furnace inside A in the aperture 7 in the down position of the movable beam is provided to the upper part of the post 5. A lower heat shielding plate 10 is provided to the lower part of the post 5 in the position lower by as much as the lifting stroke of the post 5 from the furnace outside B of the aperture 7 in the down position of the beam. The plate 10 covers the furnace outside B of the aperture 7 by maintaining always the min. gap alpha even during the time when the post 5 ascends and moves right after moving left. The heat loss in the furnace is thus decreased.

CONSTITUTION:At the time of annealing the steel sheet 4 wound as coil-shape in the annealing furnace 1, the carry of the coil 4 into the annealing furnace 1 and the carry-out from the annealing furnace 1 are executed with the roll 6 in the furnace supported with the bearings 20 arranged out of the furnace by utilizing the vertical movement with a filter 22 and the coil 4 during the annealing operation is supported with the fixed support 8 and the roll 6 in the furnace is lowered into a groove-shaped recessed part 11 arranged to the support 8. As the electric power for supporting the support 8 during the annealing is not necessary and the electric power for vertical movement of the roll 6 in the furnace only in the case of carrying out/carrying in the coil 4 is necessary for short period, the power consumption at the time of annealing the steel sheet coil can be minimized with high economical efficiency.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a titled device which improves the thermal efficiency of a heating furnace by the constitution in which sealing curtains are doubly provided to the bottom end of a door body for opening and closing the outlet and inlet of the furnace so as to contact gradually the sealing curtain arriving at the pass line for the slab and the slab. CONSTITUTION:An outside sealing curtain 16 arriving at the pass line 4 of a slab 2 and an inside sealing curtain 15 having the length at which the curtain arrives gradually at the slag 2 and is hardly interfered by the passage thereof are provided doubly to the bottom end of a door body 5 for opening and closing an extraction port 3 for the slab 2 of a heating furnace body 1. The door body 5 closing the port 3 is driven by a motor 9 so as to ascend and a cylinder 21 is actuated to bring a sealing table 17 supported by an arm 18 into tight contact with the body 1 in the stage of extracting the slab 2. An extractor is then inserted into the furnace through a notch 22 provided with a sealing cloth 23 of the table 17 to extract the slab 2 by lifting the curtain 16. The construction is similar in the stage of charging the slab 2 into the body 1. The passage of the gas through the slab inlet and outlet is thus suppressed and the thermal efficiency of the furnace is improved.

摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce the cycle time of walking beams and to improve the operating efficiency of a walking beam type heating furnace which moves an object to be heated by increasing the speed in vertical movement of the movable beam in said furnace in a no-load period. CONSTITUTION:Movable beams 3 which are movable vertically and longitudinally are provided in a walking beam type heating furnace 1 of a movable hearth system which moves an object 4 to be heated in a longitudinal direction. The upward moving speed of each beam 3 is decelerated just before the beam 3 goes flush with the top level 5 of a stationary beam 2 in the upward moving stage of the beam 3. The object 4 is placed on the beam 3 and the upward movement is completed at that speed. The downward moving speed of the beam 3 is accelerated right after the top level of the beam 3 goes flush with the level 5 in the downward moving stage of the beam 3, and the object 4 is placed thereon, then the beam is moved downward at the accelerated speed.

摘要： PURPOSE:To uniformly heat a billet while effectively preventing the overheating of its both ends by providing plural axial burners in parallel on the wall surface of the nose part of the billet heating furnace in a skid group and a side burner on both side wall surfaces and separately controlling the combustion of the burners. The fuel supplies to the burners 20 and 21 are separately controlled based on the temps. of the intermediate part in the cross direction of the furnace and the furnace temps. on both sides to uniformly heat the billet 8.
