    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To bend a stock to be worked of thin thickness to circular arc without having strain by bending a stock of thick thickness with a curvature adjusting roll and arranging a groove part to a pressing roll in the two roll forming machine. SOLUTION: In the roll forming machine, in which by rotating a roll 22 so as to rotate a roll 24 to be pressed in contact therewith, the stock to be worked is bent to circular arc in the direction coiling to one roll by pressing the stock with the peripheral faces of both rolls, the roll 24 to be pressed is constructed with plural rolls 24 which are supported with one support shaft 240 and rotatable. Further, plural curvature adjusting rolls 26, which are supported with the same support shaft at the position shifted from the center and rotatable, and the roll 24 to be pressed are alternately superimposed/combined/arranged in row and the machine is constructed, one end of the support shaft 240 is supported free to turn/stop with a support mechanism, further, a groove part is arranged at the position corresponding to the outer peripheral face 265 of curvature adjusting roll 26, at the desired position of outlet side where the stock to be worked is released from pressed state, the curvature adjusting roll 26 is abutted on the inner peripheral face of stock so as to press the face.

CONSTITUTION:In a double roll forming machine 10, a roll 24 to be pressed is formed to an extremely small diameter, a supporting pressing member 26 of a rigid body bigger than the roll 24 and arranged in parallel with the roll 24 is provided with an inserting part 261 in the longitudinal direction, and the roll 24 to be pressed is inserted into it to be supported freely rotatably at several points in the longitudinal direction. Also, the rotary shaft 264 at one end of the supporting pressing member is supported freely rotatably and stoppably by a supporting mechanism 28; in addition, a pressing part 265 is provided on the side face in the longitudinal direction of the supporting pressing member; and the part 265 abuts on the inner circumferential surface of the material and presses the material to be worked at a desired position on the exit side where the material to be worked is released from the pressed state.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce cost and labor and to obtain a formed article having a desired diam., by passing a workpiece between two rolls to form it into a circular-arcuate shape, and press-bending the extending the passing workpiece by a press member provided to the outlet side. CONSTITUTION:A pressing roll 22 is vertically moved by operation a hydraulic cylinder to press the roll 22 against a pressed roll 24. When the roll 22 is rotated while pushing the end of a workpiece against the contact point between both rolls 22, 24, the workpiece is drawn in-between both rolls and is discharged from the opposite side of both rolls, while being bent into a circular-arcuate shape with the roll 24 inside. Here, the workpiece is finished into a formed article, while being pressbent and extended in the reverse direction by a press member 26, located between the roll 24 and the workpiece, to wrap the workpiece around the roll 24.

SOLUTION: After inserting a plate shaped stock 1 between elastic roll 3 and hard roll 2, both rolls are normally rotated one turn or over. The starting edge A of the plate shaped stock is positioned on the hard roll side, a termination B is positioned on the elastic roll side, they are overlapped with each other, and are passed through between both rolls. After that, both rolls are reversely rotated, the termination of the plate shaped stock is positioned on the hard roll side, the starting edge is positioned on the elastic roll side, they are overlapped with each other, and the plate shaped stock is passed through between both rolls.     • PURPOSE:To form a stock into a shape having a required diameter automatically by setting a pressing member between the stock and a roll to be pressed of a roll bender provided with two rolls and shifting the contacting point between the pressing member and the stock during pressing. CONSTITUTION:An end of a stock to be worked is abutted on the contacting point between a pressing roll 22 being in a pressing state and a roll 24 to be pressed and the pressing roll 22 is rotated by a motor. Thus, the stock is drawn between both the rolls 22 and 24 so that the roll 24 begins to rotate. The stock is bent into a circular arc shape with the roll 24 inside and is delivered from the opposite side of both the two rolls by succession of that rotation. The forming work is performed so that the stock is bent and expanded in a reverse direction because the pressing member 26 exists between the roll 24 and the stock, and moves as if the stock wraps the roll 24. In that time, the contacting point between the pressing member 26 and the stock is shifted by turning a handle 167a or a motor. In this method, a formed body having a complicate curvature such as a perfect circle, spiral, ellipse, triangle, square, etc. is formed.

    • PURPOSE: To provide a method for pushing/bending a cylinder with high accuracy by simultaneously pressing opposite female dies using a cylindrical male die and female dies which are equally divided into even-numbered pieces which are moved forward and backward toward the axis of this male die. CONSTITUTION: A material W to be formed is arranged on a 1st female die 11 and the 1st die 11 and 2nd female die 12 which exists on the opposite side across the male die 1 are simultaneously pressed toward the male die 1. Then, the lower part of the cylinder is formed. The 1st female die 11 is left in the position as it was and only the 2nd female die 12 is retracted. Two remaining 3rd female 13 and 4th female die 14 are simultaneously pressed toward the male die 1. In this way, the right and left parts of the cylinder are formed. After the 2nd female die 12 is advanced toward the male die 1 with the 1st female die 11, 3rd female die 13 and 4th female die 14 held in the positions as they were, these four female dies are simultaneously pressed toward the male die 1. In this way, the upper part of the cylinder is formed. As this state is held, the male die 1 is drawn out and working is completed.
