SOLUTION: Since a radius R1 of a circular arc of a first corner 11 is set larger than a radius R2 of a circular arc of a second corner 13 in the handrail 100, the first corner 11 becomes thicker than that of the second corner 13, so that the first corner portion 11 held with a thumb can be easily gripped from a viewpoint of human engineering. Also, the second corner 13 held in fingers except the thumb can be easily held from the viewpoint of human engineering because the second corner 13 can be thinner than the first corner 11. Thus, the handrail can be easily grasped. Additionally, a contact area of the thumb with the first corner 11 can be secured in a large amount because the first corner 11 can be thicker than the second corner 13. Also, fingertips except the thumb can be more properly put on the second corner 13 because the second corner 13 can be thinner than the first corner 11. Thus, the resistant to slip can be secured.
