摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fuel oil additive composed of a specific rust preventive and an amine additive, miscible with various additives for the preparation of an additive package without deteriorating the performance of each additive and lowering the solubility in a fuel oil and suitable as an additive for gasoline, light oil, etc. SOLUTION: This fuel oil additive contains (A) an alkenylsuccinic acid-type rust preventive containing 5-30wt.% of an alkenylsuccinic acid and (B) an amine- based additive such as an amine-based cleaning agent (e.g. polybutenamine or polyether amine), an amine-based metal inactivation agent (e.g. N,N'- disalicylidene-1,2-diaminopropane) or an amine-based antioxidant (e.g. N,N'-di- sec-butyl-p-phenylenediamine, N-phenyl-N'-alkyl-p-phenylenediamine or dioctyldiphenylamine).

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve low-temperature flowability, wax dispersibility and filter permeability of fuel oils by blending a copolymer (or its modified material) of ethylene and a carboxylic acid vinyl ester and a permeability improving agent. SOLUTION: A modified copolymer is obtained by optionally adding an unsaturated carboxylic acid ester to a copolymer of a number average molecular weight of 500-8,000, preferably 1,000-3,000 which is obtained by copolymerizing 85-60 wt.%, preferably 80-55 wt.%, of ethylene and 15-40 wt.%, preferably 20-30 wt.%, of a carboxylic acid vinyl ester. A low-temperature flowability improving agent is obtained by blending 95-70 wt.%, preferably 90-75 wt.%, of this copolymer (or its modified material) and 5-30 wt.%, preferably 10-25 wt.%, of a permeability improving agent having a solubility parameter of 8.0-9.6, preferably 8.5-9.2, an HLB value of 0.5-8.7, preferably 0.6-7.8, and a weight average molecular weight of 200-700, preferably 200-500.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition having excellent lubricity, water separability, anti-emulsifiability and environmental suitability and capable of preventing abrasion of diesel engine fuel jet pump, by adding a specific diol compound to a low-sulfur diesel oil. SOLUTION: This composition comprise (A) a compound of the formula R-CH(OH)-CH2 (OH) (R is an 8-30C monovalent hydrocarbon group, pref. a 14-22C (branched) alkyl or alkenyl) and (B) a diesel fuel oil 0.2 wt.% in sulfur content. For example, this composition contains 5-500 (pref. 50-200) ppm of the component A in terms of lubircating performance and addition efficiency. This composition is obtained by directly dissolving and mixing the component A in the component B; alternatively, the component A is made into its kerosene solution about 50 wt.% in concentration, and the solution is, in turn, dissolved and mixed in the component B to obtain the objective composition.

The fuel oil containing 3vol.% or more of the distillate obtained by cracking heavy oil includes kerosene, gas oil, A oil, etc., that contain distillates (cracked distillates) obtained by decomposing heavy distillate, among distillates (straight distillates) obtained by subjecting crude oil directly to atmospheric or vacuum distillation, or residual oil by catalytic cracking. In addion to these additives, the fuel oil composition may also contain an antioxidant (e.g. amino antioxidant), cetane number improver (e.g. aliphatic hydrocarbons), low-temperature flowability improver, and corrosion inhibitor.
