Particularly, it is preferable to make the wearable display to have functions of detecting a level difference of a ground surface in front of the user by an ultrasonic sensor and measuring a distance to an object in front of the user by using infra-red LED light, and to materialize both of the functions at a proper processing speed.

Laser light from the laser 2 is divided, and reflected light generated by irradiating one light on a measurement surface and reference light, or the other light, are superimposed to form an interference image group successively on an image formation surface. By performing image processing on the interference image group, a vibration fringe image A is obtained. By changing the modulation signal to the laser 2, vibration on the measurement surface is measured using a change in a maximum bright point occurring on the vibration fringe image A.
