The optical path block 26 is provided with a stop part 66 in between the condenser lens 53 and the light source 80a, at the position of a subject on the condenser lens 53. The light receiving element 44 detects light quantity reflected by blood spread on the test paper 107, of the light emitted from the light source 80a.
