    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to facilitate assembling and to make a cell con stant small by a construction wherein a pair of electrodes made of metal flat plates are disposed in parallel and oppoositely in a main body and a liquid- through part is provided between the electrodes. CONSTITUTION:A sample liquid is introduced into a liquid-through part 5 from a liquid inlet hole 9 provided in the lower part of a main body 1 and it is made to flow out from a liquid outlet hole 10. Since the liquid-through part 5 is constructed in the shape of a disk and the liquid inlet hole 9 is provided in the direction of the tangent of the circumference thereof, the sample liquid passing through the liquid inlet hole 9 and introduced into the liquid-through part 5 runs in the form of an eddy through the liquid-through part 5 and flows out from the liquid outlet hole 10, the running of the sample liquid in the liquid- through part 5 turns smooth and the possibility of occurrence of bubbles is eliminated. Since electrodes 4a and 4b are constructed of flat plates respectively and disposed in parallel, besides, a space between them can be made so small, e.g. about several millimeters, as to make it possible to provide the liquid inlet hole 9 and the liquid outlet hole 10 and, in addition, the areas of the electrodes 4a and 4b can be made large.

    • PURPOSE:To sample fog in response to the generation of the fog and to make it possible to measure the components of the sample fog water sequentially. CONSTITUTION:When a fog sensor 1 detects the generation of fog and outputs the signal, a fan 3 is rotated. Thus, the fog is made to move and pass through screens 4a and 4b. Therefore, a part of the fog is sampled and contained into a sample container 11. When the liquid level of the sample fog water reaches the preset upper limit, a forced transportation tubing pump 31, a sucking tubing pump 32 and a tubing pump 38 for KCl solution are operated by the output signal from a conductivity sensor 12. The sample fog water in the sample container 11 is supplied into a sample circulating type analyzing system such as a conductivity measuring flow cell 16. Then, the conductivity and the components of the sample are measured. When the liquid level of the sample fog water in the sample container 11 is lowered and the reaching the preset lower limit is detected with the conductivity sensor 12, the signal is outputted, and the supplying of the sample fog water is stopped. When the disapperance of the fog is detected with the fog sensor 1, the signal is outputted, and the fan 3 is stopped.

    • PURPOSE:To continuously prepare standard solution by injecting high-concentration standard solution at a fixed flow into a fixed flow of sample water. CONSTITUTION:The detector A of a measuring device, such as ion densitometer, the results of measurement are indicated in a logarithmic scale, and an overflow tank 1a are connected by means of a sample water feed pipe 1 with a throttle valve 1b. The standard solution preparing piping system 2 having a high-concentration standard solution storage tank 2a, metering pump 2b and on-off valve 2c is connected to the sample water feed pipe 1. As a result of this, at the time of measuring the sample water, the sample water is regulated to a constant head by the overflow tank 1a and is led into the detector A. On the other hand, at the time of calibration, the on-off valve 2c opens in the state that the flow of the sample water is made contant. This causes the metering pump 2b to operate to inject every fixed amount of the high-concentration standard solution into the sample water. These are then mixed in the feed pipe 1 and the mixed solution is supplied continuously as the standard solution of the specified concentration to the detector A.
