    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which a half body of a container can be formed from a precoated steel sheet at low cost.
      SOLUTION: Fig. (c) is a plane cross-sectional view of a comparative example, a wide collar 120 is formed and the steel sheet is bent from the line of the circumference L1. Fig. (d) is the cross-sectional view of Fig. (c) and the collar 120 is bent to the position of a fictitious line. When noticing the outer edge of the collar 120, the circumference before bending is L3 and the circumference after bending is L1. Wrinkles are generated by circumference difference because the circumference is changed from L1 to L1. In Fig. (b) of this invention, a vertical part 38 is separately formed in a drawing stage. In the bending stage, only a narrow flange part 46 is bent to the position of the fictitious line. Because the difference between the circumference L2 and the circumference L1 is decided within an allowable range, the generation of the wrinkles by bending is prevented. There is no risk that the coating is peeled when the wrinkles are not generated and plastic working is stably performed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of reducing the seaming man-hour while preventing occurrence of defective shape and defective seaming.

In a first bending step for bending the first straight part 42 of the first caulked part 15 in an arc shape by the seaming punch 32, when the seaming punch 32 is lowered, the first straight part 42 of the first caulked part 15 forms the arc-bent part 43 along the arc part 36 of the seaming punch 32, and the arc-bent part 43 can easily cover the second straight part 44 of the second caulked part 16.
