    • PURPOSE: To permit shoes to be certainly kept in sliding state onto a swash plate by installing a number of fan-shaped plates which are inserted onto the shoe installed at top end of a number of plungers and which are pressed by a double pull-down plate.
      CONSTITUTION: A pull-down plate 15 is rotatably supported onto a swash plate 9 by a fixed plate 16, and shoes 8 are penetrated through a number of through-holes 18 formed on the plate 15 with a sufficient play. A number of fan-shaped plates 19 are installed between the plate 15 and the back face 17 of the shoe 18. The whole back pressure 17 of the shoe 18 is pressed by the fan-shaped plate 19, which is pressed by the whole periphery of the through-hole 18 of the pull-down plate 15. The area of the shoe 18 pressing part cab be increased sufficiently, and separation of the shoe 18 from the swash plate 9 can be prevented certainly.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the comfortableness to drive a 3-step damping force variable car and its operating stability by determining environmental conditions based on upper and lower oscillation acceleration, oscillation acceleration near the resonant frequency on a spring, and car speed signals in a suspension for the car and controlling them based on the size of the oscillation acceleration signal. CONSTITUTION:One of upper and lower oscillation acceleration signals G passes through a low pass filter 3 and is input to the AND logic circuit 11 of a logic circuit 9 through a bandpass filter 5, comparator 7, and delay circuit 8 as the frequency component signal Gf near the resonant frequency on a car body spring together with a car speed signal V. In addition, the other signal G is input to a NOT circuit 10 from the low pass filter 3 through a comparator 4 and a delay circuit 6. Thus, the logic circuit 9 classifies running and road surface states into four-step environmental conditions. When the oscillation acceleration signal G is low, the circuit outputs normal N or hard H signals and when it is high, the circuit outputs soft S or normal N signals, and then controls a damper 17 in three steps. As a result, control is enabled according to the road surface and running states.

CONSTITUTION:When a vertical oscillation acceleration signal 11, a steering signal 12, a brake signal 13, and a car speed signal 14 are input to a computer 1, respectively, the computer 1 processes the signals based on a specified procedure, determines the road surface and running states, outputs the H and L outputs to solenoids 16 and 19 through a timer that is not shown in the figure according to a combination of respective states, and increasingly and decreasingly controls the spring constant of a bush 21. As a result of this structure, the computer also controls the spring constant to be large except at times of good road straight drive running, no-brake, and low speed running. Thus, comfortableness to drive a car and its operating stability can be ensured and improved.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify wiring and electric circuit, by providing a spring for biasing a valve member in a direction apart from a solenoid to permit fluid pressure control by the single solenoid. CONSTITUTION:A fluid sealed bushing 10 includes an inner sleeve 11, an outer sleeve 13 fixed to front and rear ends of a radius rod 4, an an intermediate sleeve 14 arranged coaxially between the inner sleeve 11 and the outer sleeve 13. A cylindrical solenoid 32 is provided in an axial half space between the inner sleeve 11 and the intermediate sleeve 14, while a cylindrical valve member 35 is axially slidably provided in the other half space. An attracted flange 41 is fixed through its cylindrical portion 42 to the inner circumferentce of the valve member 35. There is defined a first space between the attracted flange 41 and one end of the valve member 35. There is also defined a second space between a solenoid case 33 and a small-diameter portion 35a formed at the other end of the valve member 35 around the outer circumference of the inner sleeve 11. A coil spring 43 is provided in the second space under compression where communication holes 15 and 16 are opened. When the solenoid 32 is supplied with current, the coil spring 43 closes the communication holes 15 and 16, and its spring constant is increased.

A high speed state signal V is input to the OR circuit 10 and processed together with the output of the OR circuit 9. Running and road surface states are combined together in five steps and discriminated, and solenoids 41 and 42 are controlled through timers 12 and 13 so as to increase the spring constant of a bush at times other than good road, straight drive, no-brake, and low and intermediate speeds. As a result of this structure, comfortableness to drive a car and its operating stability can be ensured and improved.

This change-over valve 1 is changed over by means of solenoids 2, 3, that is, both passages 5, 6 are opened when one solenoid 2 is energized while both passages 5, 6 are closed when the other solenoid 3 is energized.

    • PURPOSE:To make the control ability of a suspension unit satisfactory to enhance the drive feeling of a vehicle, by providing such a variable control of spring constant of the suspension unit that upon detection of running at a speed higher than a middle speed by a first vehicle speed sensor, when any one of detection signals of the other four kinds is detected, the spring constant is increased. CONSTITUTION:A G sensor 1 detects the acceleration G of vertical vibration of a vehicle body while an S sensor 2 detects the steering angle ISI and a B sensor 3 detects the turn-on or turn-off condition of a brake key switch. Further, a Vm sensor 4 is first detecting sensor for detecting the running condition of the vehicle at a speed higher than a middle speed. The output signal Vm from the Vm sensor 4 is turned into a signal having one value when it is higher than a predetermined value V1 which indicates a vehicle running condition at a speed higher than a middle speed, or having zero value when it is lower than the predetermined value, and is delivered to an AND circuit 12 together with a signal from an OR circuit 11. Further, the signal is delivered to an OR circuit 13, and an H-signal witch indicates that the spring constant is large is fed from the output terminal of the OR circuit 13 through a timer 15 to energize a solenoid 23 which closes passages 25, 26, thereby the spring constants of both fluid charged bushings 34, 43 are automatically controlled to be made large.
