    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nucleotide chain carrier flexible and easy to handle, and suitable for scavenging and removing trace substances existing in the environment and affecting human health such as condensed polycyclic aromatic compounds and heavy metal-based substances, to provide a scavenging material containing the carrier, and to provide a method for producing such a nucleotide chain carrier. SOLUTION: The nucleotide chain carrier is characterized in that nucleotide chain is carried on a hydrophilic polyurethane. The scavenging material containing the carrier is also provided. The method for producing the nucleotide chain carrier comprises conducting a reaction with water of a prepolymer where the molecular end of a hydrophilic polyol is blocked with an isocyanato group-containing group in the presence of the nucleotide chain.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a carbon nanotube dispersion, by which a carbon nanotube dispersion excellent in dispersibility and stability can easily be produced at a low cost. SOLUTION: A surfactant having an alkyl ester group, a vinylidene group and an anionic substituent (e.g. a dodecyl itaconate) is used as a dispersant. Carbon nanotubes are added to the aqueous solution of the dispersant and ultrasonic treatment or bead mill treatment is conducted, whereby a carbon nanotube dispersion excellent in dispersibility and stability can be produced. The carbon nanotube dispersion thus obtained is applicable to various purposes such as a wet friction material, a CNT film, a polymeric composite material using CNT as a filler, an environmental conservation and restoration material, a CNT cell culture substrate and an electromagnetic wave shielding material.
