SOLUTION: The monoaxial rail adjuster equipped with the tool shaft capable of being mounted on the rail, taking in and out in the direction of the axis and being inclined right and left and transmitted on the rail to adjust the upper surface of the rail is so constituted that the travel in the direction of the rail and the taking in and out of the tool shaft can be powered, at the same time, the tool shaft is mounted through an electro-strictive element and that a control means automatically repeating cutting/traveling of the tool/relief of the tool/ traveling and cycle of inversion of healing in the reciprocating motion based on the inputted mileage/the number of times of the reciprocating motion/the amount of taking in and out of the tool and a function decreasing variations in the component of a force with the cutting such as an addition of a brake to a moved roller or the like are provided.
