When the paper 20 is set at the same position as in the early period and paper is supplied, the outputs of mark sensors 11 and 12 are 12 are all turned on, and printing is made on the line 23. When the paper 20 is set in skew and supplied, one or both of the mark sensors 11 and 12 are turned off, paper is discharged, and a warning for resetting of the paper 20 is commanded to LED15 and a buzzer 16.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reset only a processor in which fault is caused by previously instructing other normally operating processors for suppression of resetting and performing the reset by using a common reset signal. SOLUTION: A normal target 16 for which reset is not required, is instructed for the suppression of reset by an initiator 15. By this instruction, a reset enable control circuit is controlled by a processor 161 of the target 16 and its output signal is turned off. When a reset signal is inputted to a common reset signal line 10, a reset condition discriminating circuit ANDs it with a signal inputted from the reset enable control circuit and outputs the reset signal. Therefore, the target 16 does not assert the reset signal and any processor such as 161 is not reset. However, the reset signal is asserted by a target 17, to which the suppression of reset is not instructed, and the processor or the like of the target 17 is reset.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable reliable selecting and mounting of a given type through a simple operation, by a method wherein a number of comb-shaped types are radially located to a pair of support discs mounted to a spline shaft rotatably installed to a device base. CONSTITUTION:After, through turning of a pair of support discs 4 mounted to a spline shaft 6 pivotally installed to a device base 5, a given comb-shaped bar 1 is positioned in a position of a notch 14 in a frame 7, and a pick-up lever 19 slides a lever 7, including the disc 4 whereto the bar 1 is mounted, in a direction of an axis center and to a position where the lever 19 engages a notch 40 in a stop metal 39. The lever 19 is then pressed down against the energization of a spring 38 of a stop metal 34 to engage it with the lever 19 and the notck 40, and a pair of selecting levers 15 and a control metal 20 are swung untill a stop pin 35 of the metal 34 engages a concavity 18 and is brought to a stop. After the bar is pushed by a hook part 16 until a globe 11 of an arm part 3 abouts on an upper part of a control part 21 of a metal 20 and is supported, the metal 20 is pressed downward to discharge the globe 11 from a control part 21 to select the bar 1.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent unbalanced wear of gears, belts and the like in a type printer adapted to print by rotating a type drum by setting at non-integer the ratio between the number of teeth on the side of a drum driving motor and that on the side of the drum. CONSTITUTION:A type drum 1 houses a comb-shaped type bar 2 radially and is supported rotatably on a drum case 3. A spline shaft 4 is used to drive and rotate the type drum 1 and the type drum 1 and the drum case 3 are driven in the direction of X axis with a drive motor 6 through a rack and a pinion 5. One end of the spline shaft 4 is driven with a drum driving motor 12 through gears 10 and 11 to rotate the type drum 1 in the direction theta. When the numbers of teeth T1 and T3 of the gears 10 and 11 meet the requirement of T1/T3=1.1, the contact face of the gear 11 changes with one cycle of rotation of the type drum 1 thereby preventing the unbalanced wear.

Accordingly, since the ribbon sensor 25 is located between the back-tensioning mechanism and the head 15, the sagging ribbon is prevented from being caught by ribbon sensor 25 at the moment the paying out of the ribbon is stopped.

An arm part 4 of the comb-shaped type bar 1 comprising magnetic materials is inserted in a number of guide plates 12 radially bored in the disc 5 so that it can freely move in and out, the type bar 1 is normally attracted by the magnetic force of the magnet 13, and this prevents the type bar 1 from falling off from the discs 5 when a centrifugal force is exerted on the type bar 1 as a result of the rotation of the type bar 5 togetherwith the discs 5 or the force of gravity is exerted on it in case it is at a standstill.

The overall adjustment of the printing pressure is performed by changing the resistance value R9 of a resistor 9 by a switch 29.
