CONSTITUTION:The installation of the main body of a generator 6 is made by setting struts 8 suspended from the generator 6 on a bed 7 disposed in a frame 5. A draft tube 11 is attached to a main gate 13 with which the frame 5 is integrally incorporated. A water wheel shutting-off gate 15 having communication holes 14 is arranged in the main gate 13. An auxliliary gate 17 capable of rising and falling is mounted to the top end of the main gate 13 through a shaft 16, and is so constructed that the overflowing may be made. Rectifying plates 18 are provided in the lower portion of the frame, slanting to the downstream side thereof.

    • PURPOSE:To make the arrangement of a generating portion in the side portion of a channel portion needless so that the amount of construction work is reduced, by installing the main body of a generator to a frame which is in turn so constructed that may move downstream upward by being guided by inclined surfaces formed in the lateral surfaces of a pier. Thereby overhung parts 20A, 20B toward the downstream side of main gate 11 can be minimized so serve for prevention of vibration due to collision released water. Thus the stability of the whole facility will be enhanced.
