    • PURPOSE:To produce an Fe-B-C strip of superior square type hysteresis at high magnetic density by forcedly peeling the amorphous metal strip from rolls while the strip has still temperature differences between the roll face side and the opposite side thereof. CONSTITUTION:In a method for producing an amorphous alloy strip by ejecting molten metal from a nozzle, allowing the same to contact roll surfaces thereby quickly soldifying the same, the molten steel ejection temp. is increased and by increasing roll peripheral speeds, the temp. difference between the roll face side and free face side of the strip is increased, thence a strip peeling gas is ejected from the nozzle, by which the strip is forcedly peeled from the rolls. The peeled strip is again heated by the latent heat of the solidification on the free face side when the roll face side having solidified before by the contact with the rolls has not yet solidifed, by which the cooling rate on the roll face side is lowered and the surface thereof shows a brown color and assumes the state that fine cracks are produced in a 180 deg. bending test.
