    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small optical disk device with improved reliability.
      SOLUTION: The device is equipped with a lens 1 for converging light on an optical disk, a leans holder 2 for supporting the lens mounted on it, and means 3, 4 for moving the lens in the direction along the optical disk surface and in the direction approaching to or receding from the lens. The lens is positioned on the optical disk, and recording or reproduction is performed on the optical disk. The means for arranging the lens close to or away from the optical disk surface is provided in the lean holder and equipped with holes in which yokes 9, 10 are arranged, coils 3, 4 which are disposed around the yokes on the inner circumferential surface of the holes, and a member with which the yokes come into contact with a space apart from the coils concurrently with the movement along the optical disk surface.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an objective lens driving device in which the assembling property of a magnetic circuit is good, no gap is formed between yokes, no reduction in driving force is present in the moving section and no unnecessary vibration is generated.
      SOLUTION: The magnetic circuit of the objective lens driving device has focusing coils 3, tracking coils 4 and magnets 8. Furthermore, the magnetic circuit is provided with three or more yokes 9 and 10 which are provided around the periphery of an objective lens 1 along the focusing direction and a top yoke member 5 which is brought into contact with the three or more yoke members. The top yoke is brought into contact with two of the three or more yoke members along the focusing direction and brought into contact with the remaining one yoke member of three or more yoke members along the direction that is parallel with the surface of a disk.
