摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein a conventional disk cartridge can secure reliability of recording and reproduction but has a limit in cost reduction be cause the disk cartridge loaded into a recording and reproducing apparatus has a shutter to open and close an opening for exposing part of disk outside and thereby its case is configured in a two-piece structure to enclose the disk.
SOLUTION: The disk case 300 loaded into the recording and reproducing apparatus consists of an integrally molded plastic. An elastic deformation part 36 is detachably provided in the disk case 300 for holding the disk 32 contained in the case 300. This elastic deformation part 36 has a cantilever structure, and is deformed in the thickness direction of the contained disk 32. Therefore, a system in which the securement of the reliability of the recording and reproduction is properly balanced with a low cost characteristic is obtained in accordance with an application while incorporating the latest technology of the recording and reproduction.
