摘要： PURPOSE:To provided a hot sea water supplying device for desalting of sea water which can reduce the quantity of the heat energy required for heating by supplying the hot sea water obtd. by cooling the fresh water for cooling of the auxiliary machinery of an atomic reactor with a heat exchanger for the cooling water of the auxiliary machinery of the reactor to a sea water desalting device. CONSTITUTION:In a sea water desalting device 11, a piping 10 for suction of the sea water to be desalted is connected to a piping 8 for discharging of the hot sea water of a sea water heat exhanger 1 for cooling water of the auxiliary machinery of an atomic reactor. By this connection, part of the hot sea water which is discarded heretofore is sucked by a pump 9 into the device 11 and can be recovered of its heat. Here, an additional valve 15 is a valve for stopping the inflow of the hot sea water when the device 11 is stopped. By the above constitution, the used amount of the steam 13 used for the heater 12 in the device 11 is reduced; hence, this is highly effective for the reduction of the running costs required for desalting of sea water.
