    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the collapse of an impact buffer body due to buckling.
      SOLUTION: An upper impact buffer body 20 having an axially symmetric U-shaped cross section is constituted by filling its interior with wood and surrounding its exterior with a steel cover 21. The upper impact buffer body 20 covers the upper surface of a secondary lid 6 and the side surfaces of the upper end part of the peripheral surfaces of an inner tube 2 by fitting the inner tube 2 in a recession formed in its upper surface. A lower impact buffer body 10 has the same constitution as that of the upper impact buffer body 20. Laminated plates 25 are arranged in the upper impact buffer body 20 in such a way as to face the outer circumferential surface of the inner tube 2. Each laminated plate 25 is filled in regions radiatively divided by radiative ribs 23 between the concentrically arranged steel cover 21 and a cylindrical rib 22. Each laminated plate 25 is arranged in such a way that the normal of the surface of each lamination of the laminated plate forms an angle of 25° with the circumferential direction of a cask. In the upper impact buffer body 20, balsa 26 is filled in parts except the laminated plates.
