    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake control device using a no-contact type throttle position sensor for reducing an error in detecting a throttle opening.
      SOLUTION: A throttle valve 2 is rotatably held on a throttle body 1 via a throttle shaft 3. The driving force of a control motor 4 is transmitted to the throttle valve 2 via a gear transmission mechanism. The throttle position sensor 5 detects the opening of the throttle valve 2 in no contact therewith. The throttle position sensor 5 consists of a lower yoke 9, two permanent magnets 6, two upper yokes 8, and a hole element 10. The lower yoke 9, the permanent magnets 6, and the upper yokes 8 are insert-molded with a resin. The lower yoke 9 is fastened to the shaft end of the throttle shaft 3 with caulking or welding.

      SOLUTION: An exhaust gas passage for forming a part of an exhaust gas recirculating passage is arranged in an intake passage on the downstream of an electrically controlling intake control valve (a throttle valve) with a full opening position as an initial position, and an exhaust gas recirculating volume control valve is arranged in the passage. These control valves are installed in one body, and are driven by separate motors via two sets of speed reduction gear mechanisms arranged in the body. A base board of a motor control circuit and a turning angle sensor are incorporated into a resin cover for covering the speed reduction gear mechanisms. The center distance of the respective control valves is minimized, and the whole device is miniaturized, and controllability of the EGR ratio is improved.
