    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus in which deterioration in image quality, e.g. block distortion and mosquito distortion, is suppressed.
      SOLUTION: A variation detecting means 13 in a microprocessor 9 detects the stop value every unit time through a stop detection circuit 4 and monitors variation in stop value per unit time at all times. When variation in stop value per unit time exceeds a predetermined level due to abrupt change in illumination conditions, the microprocessor 9 controls an encoding compression circuit 10 to increase encoding rate in order to deal with the volume of video information increased through change in conditions. Consequently, missing or reduction in volume of information is lessened at the time of reproduction and deterioration in image quality, e.g. block distortion and mosquito distortion, can be suppressed.

    • PURPOSE:To enhance fuel spacer thermal margin and neutron economy, reduce the pressure loss, and facilitate by fabrication by furnishing a number of small holes in a cylindrical cell, fuel supporting projection, a spring, and an outer belt. CONSTITUTION:A number of small holes 3 are bored in the side of a cylindrical cell 1, which should not influence the stream of a coolant, and also a number of holes 3 are opened in the projection 4 for supporting fuel rod and a spring tab 5. This reduces not only neutron economy due to decrease in the metal amount but also the blowdown effect to prevent the liquid film from becoming thin and also increase the thermal margin, and further turbulence of the vapor stream is lesser because of being free from complicated spacer structure to cause drop of the shape pressure loss. Also a number of holes 3 are provided in an outer belt 2, which leads to further enhancement of the neutron economy. Cell 1 fabrication becomes easier by providing a number of holes 3 previously in a pipe as material to cell 1, which is then cut and subjected to a press process.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform automatic control so as to be the picture quality of an easy-to-see view finder screen matched with the brightness of photographing environments. SOLUTION: Incident light from a lens 2 is photoelectrically converted in an imaging device 4, processed in a signal processing circuit 5 and inputted to a microprocessor 7. Corresponding to it, in the microprocessor 7, an iris 3 and a signal storage time control circuit 8 are controlled and simultaneously, an exposure level is calculated. A lens position detection circuit 10 detects a focal length, that is the distance to an object 1, and the focal length of the lens 2. Then, by the arithmetic results of the exposure level, the distance to the object 1 and the focal length the gain of variable amplifier circuits 11 and 12 is controlled. As a result, the levels of luminance signals and color signals inputted to a view finder 16 are controlled.
