    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption during a standstill period of intermittent reception in a CDMA system reception apparatus.
      SOLUTION: A standstill term t1 is monitored by a low-power timer means 51, a VC-TCXO 1, a reference signal group generation section 2 and a reception section 3 are turned off, and a modem section 4 is turned into sleep state. When starting reception again, measurement of a time t3 is requested to a high-accuracy timer means 44 by initiation (d) and a part of reception signals are accumulated. During a term t3, a PN code phase of accumulated data is calculated by a PN code phase means 46, and an instruction value (i) for phase deviation is obtained. State vectors for short code and long code and a reception time 4 are calculated and set based on the instruction value (i). When the high-accuracy timer means 44 measures t3 and outputs 0V(d), demodulation operation by a lake demodulation section 40, a demultiplexing section 41 and a descrambling section 42 is started according to setting, and continued just for the reception time t4.
