    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a magnetic bearing to stably support a rotor having variable natural frequency.
      SOLUTION: A magnetic bearing rotatably supports a rotor. The position or vibration of the rotor is controlled by a control device of a magnetic bearing having a filter circuit. The rotor causes a change in forward and backward natural frequency by gyro effect during rotation. The pole and zero point of transfer function of the filter circuit are set to a pair of conjugate complex numbers during the stop of the rotor and set to a pair of non-conjugate complex numbers during the rotation. During the rotation of the rotor, the frequency characteristic of forward whirling signal and the frequency characteristic of backward whirling signal can be set and adjusted independently of each other.
