摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder determination device for performing cylinder determination while one turn of a crankshaft, by utilizing a crank sensor of magnetic type advantageous on the cost front, or magnetoresistive element type, and by performing the cylinder determination without erroneous determination.
SOLUTION: In the cylinder determination device for an internal combustion engine, a cam signal plate has a recess group or a projection group of the number smaller than the number of cylinders of the engine by one. The number of recesses or projections of the recess group or the projection group is different from the number of that of the other recess group or the projection group. The crank signal plate has recesses or projections whose intervals are unequal in a predetermined crank angle, and are equal in the other crank angle, and the number of the unequal intervals is a half of the number of the cylinders. A signal based on the unequal interval parts is detected by a crank angle sensor, and a signal based on the cam signal plate is detected by a cam angle sensor. The cylinder determination device performs the cylinder determination by the signal based on the unequal interval parts and the signal based on the cam signal plate.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the production of rich mixture at low speed and low load running operation by a method wherein a seat part is provided to communicate an orifice with the chamber communicating an idle bleed with an idle passage and opened by means of a diaphragm valve. CONSTITUTION:In the carburetor equipped with a main fuel circuit and an idle fuel circuit, the seat part 21 is provided to communicate the orifice 22 with the chamber communicating the idle air bleed 8 with the idle passage 6 and constituted to be opened or shut by means of the diaphragm valve 20. At low speed and low load running operation, as the opening of a throttle valve 1 is small so the negative pressure is produced below the throttle valve 1 and introduced through a negative pressure port 14 into the negative pressure chamber 16 of the valve 20 so as to move a diaphragm 17 leftwards against a spring 18 to open the seat part 21. As a result, the air sucked through both the idle air bleed 8 and the orifice 22 is mixed with the fuel introduced through an idle jet 5 within the idle passage 6 to form lean mixture to be supplied into a suction passage 7.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the acceleration characteristic by installing a valve and a flow passage for returning the discharged fuel oil of an accelerating pump into a float chamber and returning a portion of the fuel on sharp start. CONSTITUTION:A flow passage 10 branched from the downstream side of the cylinder 6 of an accelerating pump is allowed to communicate to a float chamber 11, and a solenoid valve 12 is installed midway in the passage 10. A car speed switch 13, cooling water switch 14, and a stage number position detecting switch 115 for transmission are installed in an operation circuit for the solenoid valve 12. When the car speed is below a prescribed value and the cooling water temperature is over a prescribed value and the transmission is in D range, the solenoid valve 12 is turned-ON, and the cylinder 6 and the float chamber 11 are allowed to communicate, and a portion of the fuel which is supplied by the lowering of an accelerating piston 5 is returned into the float chamber 11. Thus, the concentration of the mixed gas is prevented.
