    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reduction in comfortableness or the occurrence of failure of an elevator by generation of vibration or the like, caused by controlling the elevator for traveling in a surplus power nonexistent state of a motor, when a live load detected by a load sensor is different from an actual live load.SOLUTION: A torque command value when traveling in a predetermined live load when installing the elevator, is recorded as an initial value, a torque comment value when the elevator travels is recorded, and the initial value and the torque command value in traveling are compared. When the live load falls within a specific range of including a balance load, as a result of comparing the torque command value, when the torque command value in traveling is the initial value or more, it is determined as travel abnormality, and a live load range capable of varying a travel speed of the elevator is changed ((3) of Fig.6). When a load factor falls within a limited specific range in the vicinity of including 50%, when it is determined as the travel abnormality, a variable speed of the travel speed of the elevator is prohibited over the whole range of the live load ((4) of Fig.6).

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote monitoring system for an elevator in which various types of noise having a risk of hindering direct communication using an interphone in an elevator car can be reduced to easily secure excellent communication quality.SOLUTION: In the remote monitoring system for the elevator in which the interphone 2 in the elevator car 1 can communicate directly with a monitoring center 7 via a remote monitoring device 6, the noise collected by the interphone 2 is detected periodically by the remote monitoring device 6. The remote monitoring device 6 includes: a communication part 6a capable of transmitting and receiving a message to/from both the interphone 2 and the monitoring center 7; a noise data analysis part 6c for specifying the source of the noise collected by the interphone 2 and analyzing whether the volume thereof can be controlled or not; a noise data storage part 6b for storing the result analyzed by the noise data analysis part 6c; and a control determination part 6d capable of outputting a signal for controlling the source of the noise. When performing direct communication by using the interphone 2, and when the volume of the noise is determined to be larger than an allowable value, the remote monitoring device 6 transmits a control signal to a control panel 5 to suppress the volume thereof.
