    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for low-temperature sterilization by which microorganisms containing a microorganism such as a thermoduric bacterium difficult to completely sterilize at a low temperature can completely be sterilized.
      SOLUTION: The method for low-temperature sterilization is designed to act 0.1-1.0% of hydrogen peroxide on a food in an aqueous medium and sterilize the microorganism as the object of sterilization in the presence of radicals derived from the hydrogen peroxide. The existable microorganism as the object of the sterilization is selected from the food to be sterilized. The point of action of the microorganism as the object of sterilization based on the hydrogen peroxide concentration and sterilization temperature of the food to be sterilized is obtained to determine a sterilization profile.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment apparatus which has a simple constitution and in which sterilization treatment and germination promotion treatment can be performed easily at a normal temperature range even when an expert does not guide.
      SOLUTION: The water treatment apparatus, in which raw water from a water source is introduced into a circulation tank and the introduced raw water is treated while circulating it from the circulation tank to the circulation tank through light irradiation sections and a magnetization section, is provided with: a first light irradiation section 1 having a light source for emitting the light having an around 185 nm wavelength range; a second light irradiation section 2 having a light source for emitting the light having an around 254 nm wavelength range; the magnetization section 3 having the magnetic force of 2,500-14,000 MΩ; and a chemical/radical species eliminating means 4 for eliminating radicals from the water treated in the circulation tank and discharging the radical-eliminated water to the outside.
