    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet braking system capable of replacing a braking member without requiring cost so much, capable of easily automatically adjusting a sheet size, easily adaptable to various printing jobs, and capable of applying a large dynamic load. SOLUTION: This sheet braking system 2 for braking a printing sheet, includes a plurality of braking members respectively rotating around at least one geometric rotary shaft 41, and a common driving roller 9 driving the braking members. The driving roller 9 rotates around a geometric roller shaft 44. The driving roller 9 is connected to the respective braking members via frictional contact of the driving roller 9 so as to be capable of driving its braking members. The roller shaft 44 is arranged by being eccentrically offset to one or respective rotary shafts 41, 42 and 43 of the respective driving members.
