    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterway joint water-cut off flexible joint for preventing the leakage of water due to the floating of an elastic joint material or the separation of rubber elastic sheet. SOLUTION: The flexible joint 5 is provided. A water cut off structure 1 is used for waterway faces 4 on both sides of a joint 3 of a waterway 2. The flexible joint 5 comprises a slender thermoplastic elastomer waterproof sheet 5A, at least a pair of slender and rigid plate bodies 5B, an amorphous sealing material 5C, and an fixing member 5D. The plate bodies 5B with their side faces isolated from each other are fixed to the inner face of the waterproof sheet 5A in the longitudinal direction, and a flexible part consisting of the waterproof sheet 5A is formed between the plate bodies 5B. The amorphous sealing material 5C is provided inside the plate bodies 5B in the longitudinal direction. The fixing member 5D passes through the waterproof sheet 5A, the plate bodies 5B and the amorphous sealing material 5C to fix the flexible joint 5 to the waterway faces 4 on both sides of the waterway joint 3. The embedded part 52 is embedded in one projection 16 beforehand, and the compressed part 54 is brought into friction contact with the other projection 36. Thus, the compressed part 54 is pulled to the base end side of the one projection 16, and the compressed part 54 is compressed by being sandwitched between the outer peripheral surface 30 of the inner projection 16 and the inner peripheral surface 38 of the outer projection 36.
