    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the excellent appearance of the composition for aqueous aluminum brazing after the brazing without impairing the solubility in water during the saponification.
      SOLUTION: The composition for the aqueous aluminum brazing contains (A) water-soluble saponified substance of methacrylic ester-based polymer, (B) non-reactive flux, (C) water-soluble alcohol, and (D) water. The acid value of the polymer (A) is 1-19. The content (in terms of solid content) of the component (A) is 3-15 wt.%, and that of the component (B) is 25-50 wt.%, that of the component (C) is 35-55 wt.%, and that of the component (D) is 5-15 wt.%. In order to adjust the blending ratio of water-soluble alcohol to be higher while setting the acid value of a binder resin to be lower, water solubility after the saponification is guaranteed, and the appearance after the brazing is ensured.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve adherence to an aluminum member while suppressing a binder amount and securing a brazing property.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for an aluminum brazing composition uses a roll mill to knead a brazing composition of aluminum or an aluminum alloy containing a (meth)acrylic resin binder (A), a fluoride-based flux (B), and an organic solvent (C), wherein the content (in equivalent solid gradient) of the gradient (A) in the brazing composition is 1 to 20 wt.% with respect to the total amount of the gradients (A), (B). The roll mill is applied to the brazing composition for kneading, so that the composition is sufficiently dispersed with the flux even if the binder amount is suppressed, adherence to the aluminum member can be improved while securing the brazing property, and the composition is particularly suitable for inner brazing of an inner fin tube.

      SOLUTION: The coating material for the brazing of the Mg-added aluminum material contains: (A) a binder composed of the water soluble saponified matter of a methacrylic acid ester based polymer; (B) nonreactive cesium based flux; and (C) water-soluble alcohol having volatility. Differently from cesium fluorozincate or the like belonging to reactive flux, nonreactive flux such as cesium fluoroaluminate is used, and further, methacrylic acid ester based polymer is used as a binder, satisfactory brazability can be secured. It is aqueous, and there is no risk of explosion and ignition.

      SOLUTION: The biodegradable polyester composition is prepared by blending a biodegradable polyester having 10,000-100,000 molecular weight with an alkylene oxide adduct of rosin having 10-30 molar number of addition as a plasticizer. As the plasticizer brought to have the molar number of addition in a specific range or more is blended with the biodegradable polyester having a low molecular weight in a specific range, the compatibility of the plasticizer with the polyester is good and the obtained resin composition is excellent in transparency, heat stability and flexibility. As the biodegradable polyester, polylactic acid is especially preferable.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an acyclic dimer acid efficiently even when the starting material for the dimerization for producing it is a plant-derived fatty acid having a high linolic acid content and a high iodine value.
      SOLUTION: In producing the dimer acid, a plant-derived fatty acid having an iodine value of 120-145 is dimerized stepwise. The production method comprises the following two steps: the first step wherein the plant-derived fatty acid is dimerized at 200-245°C in the presence of a clay catalyst, a lithium salt, and water within a reaction time of 1 hr and then a monomer acid mainly comprising an octadecenoic acid, e.g. oleic acid, is separated by distillation; and the second step wherein the monomer acid produced by the first step is dimerized at 230-245°C in the presence of a clay catalyst, a lithium salt, and water. By these first and second steps, an acyclic dimer acid constituted of linolic acid and an acyclic dimer acid constituted of oleic acid are selectively and separately produced.

      SOLUTION: The brazing composition for aluminum or aluminum alloy contains (A) methacrylic acid ester based polymer (binder), (B) flux and (C) organic solvent. To this composition for brazing, a water soluble and lower boiling organic solvent such as isopropyl alcohol is added at a prescribed concentration to improve drying properties of the organic solvent. As a result, the adhesive strength can be maintained even with the small binder ratio to reduce risk of the residue of the binder. In addition, by specifying the type and concentration of the organic solvent, particularly when coating is performed by a roll coating method, transpiration of volatile components can be moderately promoted for stable coating.

      SOLUTION: The emulsion adhesive comprises a polylactic acid emulsion prepared by mixing a polylactic acid with a rosin-based resin as a tackiness imparting agent resin, a cross linking agent added therein having a reactivity with a carboxyl group selected from the group consisting of an oxazoline, carbodiimide, aziridine and hydrazine-based compound. Since a specific cross linking agent such as the oxazoline-based compound is further mixed to the polylactic acid emulsion mixed with the rosin-based resin, the emulsion adhesive has excellent retention force (cohesive force), and improved adhesive deposit. Further, it is excellent in storage stability and easy to handle because of the specific crosslinking agent.
