    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit the starting of ice making operation when ice blocks in the lower side of an ice storage chamber are reduced even when the ice blocks in the upper side of the ice storage chamber are arched. SOLUTION: A first ice storage detecting sensor 30 for detecting the fully filled condition of the ice blocks is arranged on a ceiling unit in an ice storage chamber 14, while a second ice storage detecting sensor 34 for detecting the ice blocks in the ice storage chamber 14 is arranged at a position lower than the arranging position of the first sensor 30. The first ice storage detecting sensor 30 and the second ice storage detecting sensor 34 are connected to a controller. The controller operates an ice making unit 16 to manufacture the ice blocks under a condition that either one of the first ice storage detecting sensor 30 or the second ice storage detecting sensor 34 does not detect the ice blocks, and stops the operation of the ice making unit 16 when both of the ice storage detecting sensors 30, 34 detect the ice blocks.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve stable travel in a simple structure in a power-assisted dolly. SOLUTION: A handle 26 and a continuously variable transmission of a motor are connected to each other by a rod 44, and as the handle 26 is operated to be pulled forward, the motor is gradually boosted. A gas spring 40 is installed between a second rotary plate 48 provided on a handle shaft 25 to protrude and the front wall 10A side of a main body 10, the gas spring 40 has a shock absorbing function, and as pushing or pulling speed to the rod 44 is larger, larger resistance is generated. When the handle 26 is at a neutral position, a connected position of a tip of the rod 44 falls on a position at a specified angle (x) down from a horizontal line X passing an axial center of the handle shaft 25. The handle 26 is fixed without swinging because of the shock absorbing function of the gas spring 40, and traveling is stabilized. As pulling to the handle 26 goes from start to end, larger operation force is required, so the handle 26 becomes gradually heavier as we call it, thereby operation feeling to the handle 26 is favorable.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frozen dessert-producing device substantially not melting a frozen dessert already existing in a cooling chamber on the supply of a raw material mixture liquid into the cooling chamber. SOLUTION: A link tank 107 is connected to a carbon dioxide tank 141, a syrup tank 149, and a water storage tank 155. The link tank 107 further communicates with a cooling chamber 109 through a communication pipe X. A cooling device 171 is disposed in the communication pipe X. The raw material mixture liquid of carbon dioxide, a syrup and water mixed in the link tank 107 is cooled nearly to 0 deg.C on the passage of the mixture liquid through the cooling device, and subsequently flowed into the cooling chamber. Thereby, the melting degree of the frozen dessert already existing in the cooling chamber due to the flow of the raw material mixture liquid is reduced. It is further preferable that the cooling device is disposed so as to cool the raw material mixture liquid, just before the raw material mixture liquid is flowed into the cooling chamber.
