摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking brake device capable of sufficiently improving operability of a release knob by installing the release knob onto the peripheral face of a grip of a brake lever through a guide member. SOLUTION: The peripheral face 41 of the grip 40 of the brake lever 30 is formed with an installation hole 42 communicating with the inside of the grip 40 into which a release rod 61 is inserted, and a tip part 63 of the release rod 61 is previously integrally provided with the guide part 70 guided along the installation hole 42. The release knob 80 has an engagement protrusion 83 projecting into the grip 40 through the installation hole 42. By engaging the engagement protrusion 83 with an engaged hole 72 formed in the guide part 70 of the release rod 61, the engagement protrusion 83 and the engaged hole 72 are integrally engaged and guided in the longitudinal direction of the installation hole 42 by operation of the release knob 80, and the release rod 61 axially moves. SOLUTION: The release knob 80 is installed to the peripheral face 41 of the grip 40 in a state that the release knob 80 is slidably overlaps a cover member 70 inserted through an installation hole 42 of the grip 40 of the brake lever 30. An engagement protrusion 82 of the release knob 80 projects into the grip 40 through the inside of the cover member 70 inserted through the installation hole 42, and the engagement part 82 is integrally engaged with an engaged hole 63a on the tip side of a release rod 61. When operating the release knob 80, the engagement protrusion 82 is guided along the inside of the cover member 70, and the release rod 61 having the engaged hole 63a engaged with the engagement protrusion 82 axially moves to release restraint of the brake lever 30. SOLUTION: When the brake lever 30 is in an optional position at rotational operation from a release position to an actuation position, a second energizing member 66 separates from a ratchet pawl 52 and the ratchet pawl 52 does not receive energizing force of the second energizing member 66 to a second direction. A first energizing member 56 always energizes the ratchet pawl 52 to a first direction. Thus, restriction of the brake lever by fitting the ratchet pawl 52 to a ratchet gear 23 is ensured. At rotational operation for rotating the brake lever from the release position to the actuation position, the second energizing member separates from the ratchet pawl 52 and a release rod 61 does not interlock with the ratchet pawl 52. Therefore, an interference noise caused by the release rod 61 can be prevented.
