摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a block for die construction, where a sintered compact of cemented carbide and a steel material are metallurgically integrally joined to each other. SOLUTION: The block is a block 1 of die material in which a tungsten- carbide-base cemented carbide and a steel material 3 are integrally joined to each other. Moreover, this block is composed of a sintered compact of tungsten- carbide-base cemented carbide at least in three layers where the content of a binding phase component is decreased in a surface layer part 4 and increased stepwise from the surface layer part with the approach to an inner layer part 6, and further, the steel material 3 is joined to the inner layer part by diffusion reaction. Plural blocks mentioned above are arranged to constitute a die surface and form a press forming die. The fixing of the die to a backing plate by means of welding or bolting can easily be performed via the steel material, and dies of various shapes can be produced by the arrangement of the blocks. The surface layer part of the sintered compact of cemented carbide, to be the press working surface of a die, has excellent wear resistance, and a die surface having durability can be formed.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excavating bit which is excellent in wear-resistance with respect to gouging abrasion of a chip holding part during excavation. SOLUTION: An excavating bit 10 is composed of a base 11 made of steel such as chromium molybdenum steel SCM440, and a cannonball-like chip 12 held to a front end annular wall part 11a and made of hard metal for mining tools, and a sleeve fitted on the outer peripheral surface of the annular wall part 11a and made of ally steel composed of a high manganese steel SCMn H1 having an austenite structure or bearing steel SUJ2 having a mixes structure of a tempered structure and an austenite structure. The annular wall part 11a is jointed to the tip 12 by brazing through the intermediary of a blazing material layer 14. When carbon steel is sintered to be bonded to the sintered hard alloy material obtained by filling the material loading part of an electrification sintering mold die with an WC-Co alloy powder and by sintering it through electrification this powder, deformation or a crack is not generated in the sintered hard alloy and a sintered hard alloy composite material of a sufficient bonding strength can be obtained.

A portion of its back side is made to be a cemented carbide type weldable layer 1b having a metallic coupling phase amount of 15 to 40% by weight. These two layers are integrally joined together by direct sintering joining and/or indirect joining via middle layer 1c provided between the two layers and in the cemented carbide type weldable layer 1b, the layers are adhered to the tip part 3 of the screw conveyor blade helically and in series by direct welding.
