    • PURPOSE:To improve flaw detecting accuracy by making the axial line of an ulrasonic- wave flaw detecting sensor agree with the normal line at a position to be inspected for a surface under inspection. CONSTITUTION:This apparatus is mainly composed of the following parts: a rotary shaft 20 which is coaxially arranged with a central line N of an outlet port nozzle 13 and can be rotated; rail plates 26 and 27 which are made to extend to outer radial direction and fixed to the shaft 20; and a sensor holding device 30 which is moved along rails 28 of the plates 26 and 28 and holds an ultrasonic-wave flaw detecting sensor 29. A fixing rod 25, a fixing plate 23, cylinders 37 and 50 associated with said fixing rod and plate and a pushing mechanism are made to function as the positioning means of the shaft 20. The rails 28 are formed so that the axial line of the sensor 29 agrees with the normal line of the surface to be inspected and the tip surface of the sensor 29 can be moved in contact with the surface to be inspected, when the shaft 20 is fixed at a specified angle. When the movement of the shaft 20 and the device 30 is controlled, the sensor 29 is moved under the state wherein the sensor is held in the normal direction of the surface to be inspected. Since the sensor 29 is held elastically with the device 30, the tip surface of the sensor is pushed to the surface to be inspected with appropriate pressure.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable testing with little fluctuation and high reliability by remote operation by working an actuator at one end of a whirl-stop rod to detect load, and detecting the displacement of the whirl-stop rod. SOLUTION: A whirl stop 21 is so constructed that the frictional force between a presser plate 25 brought into contact with the upper surface of a support pin 17 by a pin 23 clearance fit in a round hole of a nut 19 and a triangular connecting member is applied to the screw surface to prevent the loosening of the nut 19. In a support device 31 of a looseness test device 30, an actuator 33 and a differential transfer displacement gauge 35 are disposed, and the actuator 33 applies load to the pin 23 through a load cell 37. If the detected load is smaller than the static frictional force between the pin 23 and the nut 19, the pin 23 is not moved, but if it exceeds, the pin is moved to the left and it is detected by the displacement gauge 35. The load value when the displacement of the pin 23 starts to be detected becomes frictional force, and if this is smaller than the initial frictional force, it is determined that there is looseness in fit between the round hole of the nut 19 and the pin 23.
