The tapping mechanism 7 has a tapping part 7A internally storing a tap and a speed reduction mechanism part 7C for transmitting torque to the tap of the tapping part 7A, and the speed reduction mechanism part 7C is inserted into and fitted to a guide rod 11 vertically erected on the tapping part 7A.

    • PURPOSE:To improve workability by a method wherein annular pressing members provided over the circumference of a pipe are bound together, being placed facing a jointing flange on the other pipe, and the annular pressing members and the jointing flange are fastened together with a pair of fasteners. CONSTITUTION:In a pair of pipes P1 and P2, each of which is formed in an extended diameter at its one end with a jointing flange 15 provided, the end of one pipe is fitted, through a wedge-like sealing material 19, into the end in the extended diameter of the other pipe. Then, annular pressing members 18 provided over the circumference of the pipe are placed, facing a jointing flange 15 of the other pipe, and is pressed against the wedge-like sealing material 19. A first fastener 41 is then pressed from the outside to the annular pressing members 18. A second fastener 43 is provided so that it can move relatively against the first fastener 41 in the axial direction that is approximately in parallel with the axis of a fixing bolt 14. Furthermore, a movable press-down member 71, formed integral with the second fastener 43, is pressed from the outside against the jointing flange 15. The first fastener 41 and the press-down member 71 are brought close together to fasten the jointing flange 15 and the annular pressing members 18, both of which are placed in between.

It comprises an anticorrosive member 31 to be applied to the anticorrosive layers 22 on both sides of a joint portion formed with the primary pipe 22 whose end faces abut on each other, and a resin sleeve 32 which is longer than the anticorrosive member 31 and either end of which has a diameter smaller than that of the protecting layer 23 and is welded to the anticorrosive layer 22.

      SOLUTION: In the joint part protection method of the resin coating steel pipe which an anticorrosive layer and a protection layer are formed to the outer circumference of an original pipe (steel pipe) in two layers, the joint part protection structure of the resin coating steel pipe removes the protection layer 23a, 23b and the anticorrosive layer 22a, 22b of a prescribed length from the resin coating steel pipe 2a, 2b. About the joint part which is jointed by confronting the edge part of the resin coating steel pipe 2a, 2b each other, the protection layer 23a of the resin coating steel pipe 2a on the drive direction side is peeled off from end of the anticorrosive layer 22a with the prescribed length and an annular clearance 26 is formed between the protection layer 23a and the anticorrosive layer 22b by using the spheroidal tool 3. The anticorrosive layer 22a, the anticorrosive member 4, the protection member 5 to protect the outer circumference part of the protection layer 23b and the anticorrosive layer 22b constitutes this unit, while inserting one end in this clearance 26.
