When the lower end of ink is elevated to I from II, an endless chain is sagged by the length according to the distance moving to I from II and thereby an underwater snap bearing is moved on a guide rail 16 to absorb the sagging and therefore a sprocket wheel 15 for tension fitted in the same axis 13 as the snap bearing is moved to position B from position A toward the tension side. When the lifting device 7 is unwound and the lower end of link 3 is descended to II from I , the underwater shap bearing is moved on the guide rail 16 and therefore the sprocket wheel 15 is moved to the position A from the position B toward the sagging side.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust to a proper value the pressure of the pressurized water to be supplied to a nozzle of a sand collecting apparatus for collecting the sand accumulated on the bottom surface of a sedimentation basin by jetting water from the nozzle.
      SOLUTION: This sand collecting apparatus is provided with a water pressurizing pump 6, a sand collecting pit 2B and a jet pump 5 being a sand pumping pump arranged in the pit 2B. The water of a water source is sucked, pressurized and discharged by the pump 6, which is supplied to a plurality of the nozzles 3 through sand collecting pipelines 4 and jetted through jetting spouts of the nozzles 3. By the jetted pressurized water, the sand accumulated on the bottom surface 2A of the sedimentation basin 2 is collected in the pit 2B. A supply pressure adjusting means is arranged for adjusting the pressure of the pressurized water to be supplied to each of the nozzles 3.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent an offensive odor from being discharged to the surrounding, and slurry containing sewage from being splashed for improving sanitation by transferring garbage scraped with a garbage removal machine to the next process via a water flow trough, a crusher and a jet pump. CONSTITUTION:A guide rail having the first recess at a rake lift side and the second recess at a lower side is so laid as to enclose the external side of an upper drive sprocket. Also, the claw of a rake is directed outside at the rake lift side, directed inside in the first recess and directed again outside in the second recess, thereby forming a garbage removal machine 2. Then, a plurality of the garbage removal machines 2 are laid in parallel in a water passage 1, and connected to each other via a water flow trough 5. Also, a crusher 3 is provided near the downstream end of the through 5. Furthermore, a jet pump 4 is laid at the downstream side of the crusher 3. Garbage scraped down with the rake claws in the machine 2 is washed down to the trough 5 with jet water. Bulky garbage is crushed with the crusher 3 whenever necessary, sucked with the jet pump 4 and transferred to the next process.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a running type precipitated sand scrape-up apparatus wherein the traversing conveyor of a conventional running type precipitated sand scrape-up machine is dispensed with and the scrape-up apparatus is placed on a precipitated sand accumulation layer and enabled in inspection at a part above water while power consumption is reduced and handling is made simple. CONSTITUTION:A saddle having wheels arranged to both ends thereof is placed on rails 15 and a girder 2 is arranged to the saddle so as to straddle a sand precipitation basin 1 while a vertical frame 9, a lift apparatus 13, a chute 18 and a casing 20 supporting a chain wheel 3 are provided to the single side of the girder 2 and sheave wheels 11 are provided to both sides of the girder 2. A transverse frame 8 is provided to the sand precipitation basin 1 under the girder 2. Then, tensioning of a chain by the rising and falling of vertical and transverse frames 9, 8 is performed by the tensioning chain wheel 4 provided to the frame 9. The chain 7 provided with buckets is mounted over the chain wheel 3, the tensioning chain wheel 4 and underwater chain wheels 5 and moved by a drive apparatus 14.

    • PURPOSE: To scrape out precipitated sand by always scraping up the same in a chain tensioned state, by performing hydraulic control while following the variation in the accumulation amount of precipitated sand.
      CONSTITUTION: Both of an underwater head part chain wheel 6 and an underwater tail part chain wheel 11 are constituted in an elevation system and the local movement of an endless belt 13 having buckets 12 mounted thereto is absorbed by a tensioning moving chain wheel 8 to prevent the buckets 12 from embedding in precipitated sand. In addition, definite compulsory force is applied to the underwater head part chain wheel 6 and the underwater tail part chain wheel 11 through a lever 4 and an arm 3 by a hydraulic apparatus such as a hydraulic cylinder 7 to keep the tension force of a drive chain constant. As a result, the endless chain 13 having the buckets 12 mounted thereto is prevented from embedding in sand and precipitated sand scraping-out action can be ensured even with respect to any precipitated sand accumulated state by constant chain tension force.
