摘要： PURPOSE: To easily make possible observing total images of desired windows by making possible displaying images in positions where respective images are not overlapped without executing any troublesome operation in a multiwindow displaying method displaying simultaneously plural images in one screen of an image display device by successively selecting them. CONSTITUTION: When the positional information of windows during image display are written in a reference memory different from the display memory of images and an image newly read out from a storage means is written in the display memory, in the case window positional information written already in the reference memory are read in and the writing prospective position to the display memory of a window in which a new image is displayed has a part overlapping with a window position in which an image is already written, the window position in which the image is already written is changed to a prescribed position shifted from the writing prearranged position and after the image is rewritten in the position, the display memory is read in and then respective images are simultaneously displayed by respective windows (101 to 113).
