    • PURPOSE:To thin optionally pixels by providing an image thinning means to prepare for and circulate a shift register having a designated bit pattern and extract the pixel only when a shift register output is '1'. CONSTITUTION:The data from a thinning data memory 13 are set with an HS signal to a shift register 14. Each time a clock signal CLK is generated, the data in the shift register 14 are circulatively shifted bit by bit. When an AND circuit 15 is selected by a clock selection and the output of the shift register 14 is '1', an address counter 12 is counted up through an OR circuit 17, a signal selecting circuit 9 functions, one-dimensional image sensor signal data are selected and stored into an image memory 10. When the output of the shift register 14 is '0' and the output of an one-dimensional image sensor 4 is generated, image data are not stored into the image memory 10. Thus, by setting the bit pattern of the shift register in accordance with the size of the image memory, a suitable thinning processing is executed.

    • PURPOSE:To enlarge a focusing angle, to facilitate manufacturing, to miniaturize a device and to guide equally light to a photo detector with a small photodetecting area by providing a light guiding circular truncated cone-shaped member between a flexible light guiding body and the photo detector. CONSTITUTION:A laser light to transmit and scatter a film 5 is made incident on a light guiding plate material 6, repeats the total reflection in an inner surface and is guided to a emitting edge. The light flux to emit the light guiding plate material is made incident on a light fiber flux 7 opposite to the light flux and arranged linearly. The emitting edge of the light fiber flux 7 is arranged to a circular shape, the light flux to emit the light fiber flux 7 is made incident on a light guiding circular truncated cone-shaped member 8 opposite to the light flux and arranged, focused by the member 8 and converted to an electric signal by a light detecting device 9 at the emitting edge. Since the total reflection at the inner surface is used by the member 8, a reflecting ratio is large and a transmission efficiency comes to be large compared with the circular cone with a metal. Since the change of the emitting light quantity distribution from the fiber flux can be made smaller, the influence of the sensitivity distribution on the detecting device surface can be decreased.

    • PURPOSE:To adjust easily an optical system, even in case of an optical fiber bundle whose width is narrow in the direction vertical to the light scanning direction, by curving an array of an incident end to match a locus of a scanning line of a luminous flux. CONSTITUTION:In case a reflecting surface of a polyhedron mirror 2, and a revolving shaft of a driving motor are not parallel, a locus 9 of a luminous flux which has been scanned does not become a straight line but curved. Also, in case an ftheta lens 3 is inclined against an optical axis, or when a mirror 4 for curving an optical path has been used on the way, as well, a scanning line is curved in the same way. Therefore, an incident end fixing member 7 of a fiber bundle is curved to match a locus of the luminous flux, and it is made to coincide roughly with a curve of a locus of a scanning light. In this way, even in case of an optical fiber bundle whose photodetecting area is small, an adjustment accuracy for attaching an optical element, etc. can be relaxed, and the time for an adjustment work of a complicated optical system can be shortened.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the size of the whole device by using an optical guide plate for condensing measured light reflected from an object and using optical fiber flux for guiding light to a photodetector. CONSTITUTION:A transparent and photoconductive plate made of plastic, e.g. acrylic resin, can be used for the optical guide plate 6. A large condensing angle can be obtained by arranging the optical guide plate 6 adjacently to a film 5 within a contactless range and the length of the optical guide plate 5 is determined so that the light beam transmitted through the film is sufficiently expanded as compared with the diameter of an optical fiber strand in accordance with the converging angle of an ftheta lens 3. Inexpensive plastic fibers can be used for the optical fibers, the incident end surface of the optical fiber flux is ground and tightly sticked to the outgoing end surface of the optical guide plate 6 to guide a light beam. When necessary, the optical fiber flux 7 can be bent. Consequently, the size of the whole device can be reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the influence of noise by reducing the light unevenness on a film by an optical fiber and a light diffusing plate and reducing the noise component by the output of a CCD one-dimensional line sensor and the correlative double sampling method and providing a signal correcting circuit part with a means which adds and averages white-and-black correcting data. CONSTITUTION:A light diffusing plate 6 is inserted between the exit end of an optical fiber 5 and an X-ray film 7 to reduce the spatial light variance of the quantity of projected light. The light transmitted through and diffused by the X-ray film 7 passes an optical mirror 9 to focus a film image on a CCD one-dimensional line sensor 12 by a focusing lens 10 and is converted to an electric signal proportional to the intensity of light. An optical output monitor signal detected by a photodetector 18 passes an amplifier 19 and an AD converter 20 to obtain a digital signal REF. A signal correcting circuit 21 performs various corrections and logarithmic conversion with AD-converted digital signal SIG and REF to obtain correct X-ray film density information, and this information is stored in a picture memory and is outputted to a CRT display device 23 or the like as required.
