Thus, the caller terminal equipment is connected to the G4FAX terminal equipment and the connection to the desired called terminal equipment type is attained.

Thus, priority can be changed in a general telephone set and the private branch exchange, and furthermore, an answering operation is totally similar to a conventional attendant board, whereby the division loss of the line is prevented.

Then the terminal equipment edits the revision end signal and sends a signal to the exchange. The exchange discriminates whether or not the processing above is finished to all terminal equipment for the revision object subscriber information and terminates the processing when the processing is entirely finished.
