    • PURPOSE:To speed up the recognition of the succeeding state regulated by a state matrix necessary for communication control and the execution of processing, by executing the retrieval of a state transition matrix and branch to processing obtained as the result of retrieval within the execution time of one instruction. CONSTITUTION:A state transition table circuit 320 is addressed by an output from an input event register 311 and an output from a current state register 312 and outputs a succeeding state code and a processing code respectively to a succeeding state register 332 and a processing code register 331. The succeeding state code stored in the register 332 is stored by a CPU so as to correspond to the circuit and the processing code stored in the register 331 is utilized for the address of the corresponding program. In this case, the circuit 320 is constituted of a RAM, a ROM, etc., and allowed to establish a new value until the execution of the succeeding instruction after executing one instruction and to obtain a processing code and the succeeding state by the succeeding instruction after setting up the sort of an input event and the sort of the current state in respective registers. Thus, the retrieving processing of the state transition matrix can be speeded up.

    • PURPOSE:To switch the system to any of line exchange or packet exchange with the instruction of a terminal or an exchanger at each call or during the call, by allocating the terminal to both line changer and packet exchanger via a subscriber line and a communication mode switching device. CONSTITUTION:A terminal 17 is connected to a line exchanger 13 and a packet exchanger 14 via a line terminator 19 and a subscriber line/communication mode switcher 20. In the case 1, a communication mode switcher 20 is at line exchange mode and a ready signal 22 is exchanged between the terminal 17 and the exchanger 13, and when a network controller 18 transmits a packet exchange mode designation signal 24 to the switcher 20 on the control channel of the subscriber line, the device 20 connects the terminal 17 with the exchanger 14, a switching completion signal 25 and a ready signal are exchanged, and the calling in the packet exchange mode is made possible at the terminal 17. In the case 2, the mode is changed from the packet exchange mode into the line exchange mode with the instruction of the exchanger 2 and in the case 3, the mode is changed with an incoming call from the line exchanger 13 in the packet exchange mode.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a deodorizing device and to reduce the cost of the operation thereof by returning part of the smell generated from an aeration tank to a suction side of a blower so as to attain the min. oxygen concn. in the delivery flow rate of the blower at which the aeration tank provides the satisfactory function of an activated sludge method. CONSTITUTION:The aeration tank 1 provided with a cap, the deodorizing device 2 for treating the smell and the blower 3 for aeration are provided. Part of the smell from the tank 1 is returned to the suction side of the blower 3 in the 1st fan 6 and part of the smell from the tank 1 is fed to the device 2 in the 2nd fan 9. The 2st wind flow regulating valve 31 is provided on the line to the suction side of the blower 3 via the fan 6 and the 2nd wind flow regulating valve 32 is disposed on the line to the device 2 via the fan 9. The valve 31 is controlled in the 1st control systems 18, 19 is such a manner that the delivery flow rate of the oxygen of the blower 3 attains the set oxygen concn. and the valve 32 is so controlled in the 2nd control systems 17, 20, 21 that the deviation between the controlled wind flow rate obtd. in the 1st control system and the delivery wind flow rate of the blower 3 is made zero.
