CONSTITUTION:Read processing 9 of a job class schedule table 4 is executed, and a date, start and an end time, job class, etc., are set in a memory for an execution job class table 21. The current date and time are obtained from a timer mechanism 5 to retrieve date and time information in the table 21, and a time comparison 10 is made repeatedly until the coincidence with the date and time of the timer mechanism 5 is obtained. Once the coincidence is obtained, a decision on whether there is a job being executed at present, and when no job is found, the deletion processing 12 of the current job class and the start processing 13 of a new job class are performed. Then, job execution decision processing 16 is performed to read the processing of each job class, etc., from a definition table 7, and a job 8 queuing for execution is read in. When the time obtained by subtracting the processing time of the definition table 7 from the ending time of the table 21 is smaller than the time of the timer mechanism 5, the start processing 17 of the job is executed.

    • PURPOSE:To attain unattended operation of a computer, by informing failure information to a remote location with audio via a telephone line, if an output device receives the failure of a computer room via a communication line, through the provision of an audio output device to a guard room and an operator room located apart from an electric computer room. CONSTITUTION:An audio output device 6 is installed in a guard room and an operator room and the like, and an input section 7 of this device 6 receives failure information with a plurality of electronic computers 1 and temperature and smoke detectors 2 provided at an electronic computer room via a communication line 17. The received information is analyzed at an analyzer 8, the required information only is picked up, and an audio message corresponding to the information is formed at an audio synthesis section 9 with the picked-up information and a data code stored in a storage section 11 in advance. This message is generated from a speaker 15 via an output section 10 to inform the state of a failure and the information is connected to a telephone line according to the operation of a changeover switch 13 and informed to a telephone set 16 at a remote location.

    • PURPOSE:To switch automatically an output class without intervention of the operator by providing an output definition list, a retrieval means of output waiting class and a start means of output class. CONSTITUTION:In reading an output spool 1 and starting the output class, a list output selection processing unit 17 extracts a member from an execution class list 7 in the younger job number and selects a coincident job number from the output spool 1. A list output start processing unit 18 transfers sequentially the data content of the output spool 1 to a list output device 12 and outputs a list. The selection processing 17 and the start processing 18 are repeated until a member of the same class is lost in an execution output class table 7. When the list output of the same class is finished, a job erasure processing unit 19 erases the member of the same class as to the output spool 1, an output class schedule table 9 and the table 7, the step restores to the selection processing unit 17 to output other classes, and the step restores to a registration processing unit 13 after the end of all classes.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a chip, by constituting a power feeding pattern by main line patterns extended from a bus line pattern into wiring regions between blocks and branch patterns extended to block feeding points from the main line patterns. CONSTITUTION:On a semiconductor chip 10 formed in a rectangular shape, blocks 14-1-14-9 are arranged. A rectangular bus line pattern 16 is formed so as to surround the blocks 14-1-14-9. The blocks 14-1 is constituted by cells 12-1 and 12-2. The other blocks 14-2-14-9 are similarly constituted. Power distributing patterns 18-1 and 18-2 of each block are not formed to be extended out of the region of the block but formed to power feeding points 22-1-22-4 at block- boundary positions. Therefore, even though blocks having different sizes are arranged depending on the functions, the layout of the blocks can be optimized and the chip size can be reduced.
