CONSTITUTION: When a work area acquisition request is received, an empty area group of the chain of areas meeting the request length is determined, and the area meeting the request length is retrieved from the head of the chain, and it is disengaged from the chain when being found. The total length of used areas and that of empty areas are calculated and are stored in entries (A) 1a and (B) 1b. If the area meeting the request length is not found as the result of empty area group chain retrieval, chain retrieval is performed for a group of a chain of areas longer than the request length, and the area longer than the request length is disengaged from the chain when being found, and the area meeting the request length is obtained by division and is transferred to the request source. The empty area group to which the remaining area should be chained is determined to chain this area in a pertinent position.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coded mail transmitting/receiving system easy to introduce with low cost.
      SOLUTION: The e-mail transmitting/receiving system comprises a transmitting terminal 10 for transmitting an e-mail, a web server 20 for accepting a transmission request from the transmitting terminal 10 and transmitting a coded mail, an SMTP server 30 for accepting the transmission of the e-mail, a receiving terminal 40 for receiving the e-mail and sending a reply, if necessary, and a POP server 50 out of which the receiving terminal 40 takes the mail. The web server 20, the SMTP server 30 and the POP server 50 are also used when the receiving terminal 40 sends a replay.
