    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a main circuit structure for power converters that enables reduction of the inductance between a conductor for connecting semiconductor elements and a capacitor for smoothing direct-current voltage and that is easy to handle. SOLUTION: The main circuit structure for power converters is constructed of: two semiconductor elements 1P, 1N, a capacitor 2 for smoothing direct-current voltage; flat plate-like positive conductors 3, 5 and negative-side conductors 4, 6 that connect a terminal of the semiconductor elements and a terminal of the capacitor; and a flat plate-like alternating current-side conductor 7 that connects terminals of the semiconductor elements to the alternating current side. The positive conductors 3, 5 and the negative-side conductors 4, 6 are respectively divided into the semiconductor element 1P, 1N section side and the capacitor 2 side. Furthermore, the positive conductor 3 or negative conductor 4 on the semiconductor element side is bent so that it is parallel with either of the conductors 5, 6 on the capacitor side. The connection direction of a connecting bolt 5 for the positive conductor 3 and the positive conductor 5 is set different from the direction of connection of a connecting bolt for the negative conductor 4 and the negative conductor 6, and this structure enables connection of the semiconductor element-side conductors to the capacitor-side conductors so that the width of the conductors is large at the junctions.
