摘要： PURPOSE:To accomplish efficient data transfer with use of plural buffer circuits by applying wired OR procession to transfer yes/no signals outputted from three state terminals of buffer circuits corresponding to magnetic bubble memory devices, and creating data transfer request signals. CONSTITUTION:Data transfer request signals DRQ from three state terminals of write/read information buffer circuits 30, 31... corresponding to magnetic bubble memory devices 40, 41... become active only in selected circuits 30, 31..., whereas they become the high impedance state in other circuits. Then data is transferred between a CPU2 of an external device and the devices 40, 41... through the selected circuit 30, 31.... The signals DRQ are applied with wired OR procession, and supplied to a magnetic bubble memory control circuit 1, whereby a data transfer request of all the circuits 30, 31... is produced. Accordingly an efficient data transfer can be executed by utilizing plural buffer circuits without monitoring the circuits 30, 31....

摘要： PURPOSE:To select >=(n) sets of devices without using a decoder and to selectively control 2 sets of devices by using a decoder by selecting devices below (n)th number among the 2 sets of magnetic bubble memory devices with a specified (n)-bit signal. CONSTITUTION:A specified signal such as four bits from a magnetic bubble memory control circuit 1 is not decoded by a decoder 3; a corresponding bit becomes a negative logic, etc. and respective magnetic bubble memory devices 2 below the fourth number, etc., are selected. While the other four bits signals from a circuit 1 are decoded by the decoder and said device 2 such as maximum 2 sets, etc. of magnetic bubble memory devices 2 are selectively controlled. In such constitution, the >=(n) sets of devices 2 are selected without setting any condition in the circuit 1 from the outside without using the decoder, and also the maximum 2 sets of devices are selected by using the decoder.

摘要： PURPOSE:To make possible low-voltage driving and improve display characteristics by using the liquid crystal composed of the liquid crystal having spiral structure and liquid crystal material composed of dichromatic dyes and optically active material and specifying the orientation direction in such a manner that the pitch of spirals satisfy the specific conditions with respect to the inter-substrate spacing. CONSTITUTION:The amount of the optically active material and the orientation so as to let the orientation directions (arrows) at interfaces 1, 2 intersect orthogonally are specified in such a manner that the spiral axes of the liquid crystal intersect orthogonally with the upper and lower substrates 1, 2 of the display element sealed with the liquid crystal material composed of the base liquid crystal having positive dielectric anisotropy and spiral structure as well the liquid crystal material composed of dichromatic dyes and optically active material with repsect to the spacing (d) of the substrates 1, 2 and that the pitch (p) of the spirals satisfy the relation of formula I. The optically active material of such an amount as to provide such double refractive index DELTAn at which the base liquid crystal does not satisfy waveguide region condition formula II within the liquid crystal cell of the spacing (d) is sealed. In this way, the display element which is made drivable at low voltage and by which the dichromatic display of high visual field and high contrast is obtained may be obtained.

CONSTITUTION:Nematic-cholesteric mixed crystals 3 dissolved with multicolor dyes are interposed between opposedly disposed upper substrate 1 and lower substrate 5, whereby a reflection type liquid crystal display element of phase change type is formed. At this time, the upper substrate 1 is made of a transparent glass substrate attached with transparent electrodes and the lower substrate 5 of a glass plate which has been made into ceramics, whereby the contrast of display may be greatly improved.
