摘要： PURPOSE: To continue transmission of data by using the dummy data, etc., in place of lost data in order to make a receiver device act as if the lost data were still available. CONSTITUTION: When the data are lost on a general purpose data transmission line 3, a data reception confirming part 27 finds the loss of data by a date serial number and informs a dummy data generation part 26 of this fact. The part 26 generates the dummy data and supplies them to a selector 25. Then the part 27 controls the selector 25 for selection of the dummy data, and a driver 22 sends the dummy data to a public network 1. Thus the dummy data are received with the reception timing of a frame flag and therefore the data to be interpolated are generated at the receiver side from the timing information and a framing protocol. Then the receiver side acts as if the frame flag were received.

CONSTITUTION: The logical palette conversion part 120 in the image generating circuit 100 performs a logical palette converting process that an OS performs on a CPU 500 through hardware instead, and converts respective pixel values of image data generated by an image generation part 110 into proper hardware palette numbers. At this time, a palette conversion table is referred to by the palette conversion part 120 when the respective pixel values of the image data generated by the image generation part 110 are converted into the hardware palette numbers. In this case, the palette conversion table 121 is actualized by using a RAM and contents from the CPU can be altered.
