摘要： PURPOSE:To restrain the fatigue of toner by supplying toner into a space, formed by an electrode needle and the image forming plane of a recording medium, through the use of a hopper beforehand without applying charge. CONSTITUTION:Toner 40 is supplied into the space, formed by the electrode needle 22 and the image forming plane of the recording medium 3, by the hopper 11 beforehand without applying charge. Since the toner 40 to which charge is not applied is not attracted to the surface of the recording medium 3 by a strong force, the force to move the toner with the rotation of the recording medium is weak, and it is not attracted to the recording medium 3; only the toner 40 to which charge is applied by the electrode needle 22 is strongly attracted to the surface of the recording medium 3. Therefore, small amount of toner 40 supplied from the hopper 11 is enough to form the same amount of pictures, and the fatigue of toner can be reduced.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain the recording electrode of high resolution by arranging plural conductive electrode groups in line on an insulation substrate and exposing, laminating and forming the edge surface and the edge part of the conductive electrode groups. CONSTITUTION:An insulating substrate 1 is the nonmagnetic material of a ceramic or a glass epoxy plate, etc., and the surface is provided with the plural, independent conductive electrode groups 2 arranged in line by etching or film- making technique, etc. An insulating permeability member 3 is provided on a surface on the conductive electrode groups 2 through a binding member 4 to obtain laminating constitution at a distance about 10mum-1mm from the one edge of the conductive electrode groups 2. The recording electrode 5 is constituted on the other edge of the conductive electrode groups 2 by connecting with the output side of an integrated circuit for electrode driving on the insulating substrate 1. Thus, it becomes possible to cope with high resolution of ten or more scanning lines/mm by reducing the thickness of copper foil to be etched.

摘要： PURPOSE:To record a sharp image by making the forming position of a toner chain always almost constant, by fixing a recording electrode and forming the toner chain extending from the leading end part of the recording electrode until contacting the surface of a recording member so as to incline toward the downstream side in the moving direction of the recording member. CONSTITUTION:The first magnetic roll 21 rotates in the direction shown by an arrow A to generate an alternating magnetic field and the toner 1 in a receiving container g is supplied to the region between a recording electrode 4 and a recording member 72 by the action of the magnetic field. The toner 13 falling on the recording member 72 is fed to the recording electrode 4 and bonded to toner 131 by the action of the magnetic force of a permanent magnet 6 to form a toner sump on the upstream side of the leading end part of the recording electrode 4. A toner chain 14 is formed along the line of magnetic force of the strong static magnetic field generated in the recording region. The toner of the lower part of the toner chain 14 is cut against magnetic force Pm by toner feed for Ft to be allowed to flow down toward the downstream side. The toner 16 having charge induced therein is strongly bonded to the recording member by an integrated circuit 42 and moves toward the downstream side of the recording region by the rotation of a drum.

摘要： PURPOSE:To make a magnetic field intensity distribution the highest at a tip part and rapidly lower it toward the developer pooling side, to form a toner chain only in a narrow area, and to reduce a recording voltage by arranging a magnetic substance on the surface opposite to a magnet. CONSTITUTION:With respect to an electrostatic recording head 2, the magnetic substance 18 is placed on the surface opposite to the magnet 16. Among magnetic force lines generated from the magnet 16, the magnetic force lines on the developer pooling side are absorbed by the magnetic substance 18, so that the magnetic field intensity of developer pooling space is weakened, however, the magnetic force lines which pass the tip of a recording electrode 15 and flow toward a recording member 1 facing the tip of the recording electrode 15 are not weakened because of the less influence of the magnetic substance 18. So the intensity distribution of the magnetic field near the tip of the recording electrode 15 is highest at the gap between the forward end of the recording electrode 15 and the recording member 1, and rapidly lowers toward the developer pooling side along the moving direction of the recording member 1. Thus, the toner chain can be formed only in the narrow area of the forward end part of the recording electrode, and the recording voltage is reduced.

摘要： PURPOSE:To drop a voltage and to speed up by tilting a recording electrode in the revolving downstream direction of a medium to be recorded, applying a magnetic field in the tilting direction, selectively applying a voltage to the recording electrode and forming an image. CONSTITUTION:Toner 1, which is contained in a hopper 2 is conveyed onto a guiding member 4, and in the next place, a toner banking part is formed at the edging part of a recording head. A toner chain 1b which contributes to recording in the lowest downstream side is formed along the slope of the recording electrode 5c, and in said condition, a voltage is selectively applied to the electrode 5c. Resultantly, the toner 1c into which electric charge is injected is moved to a downstream side by drum 8 turning in condition that the toner 1c is attached onto the drum 8. Out of the toner on the drum 8, unnecessary non-electrified toner 1d is attached to the sleeve 10b of a magnetic roll 10a and is eliminated. Therefore, a clean recorded image is obtained on the drum 8. An image due to the toner is transferred onto a recording sheet 13 when the toner 1c is situated at a transferring roll 14.

By rotating cylindrical magnets 67a-67c, the magnetic toner 5 is attracted by the magnetic force of the cylindrical magnets 67a-67c and moves in the arrow C direction inside of the toner cassette 11. Consecutively, the magnetic toner 5 reaches the toner discharge opening and is supplied to the picture recorder. Thus, since the magnetic toner does not scatter inside of the recorder, contamination caused by the magnetic toner can be prevented.

摘要： PURPOSE:To achieve high density, high resolution, high reliability, and improvement of productivity, by a method wherein a linear column state pattern is formed by using a conductive magnetic material of a specific thickness or above, and an insulating resist is applied to the electrode pattern and between the electrode patterns. CONSTITUTION:A junction layer 2 of a silver solder layer of 5mum in thickness is formed by a screen process printing on a side surface of an insulating alumina substrate 3. Then, a Fe-Ni alloy sheet of 40mum or above in thickness as a conductive magnetic sheet 5 is lined on the junction layer 2, and the alumina substrate and the Fe-Ni alloy sheet are joined by heating. Thereafter, linear cutting is performed by a cut depth of 125mum to form an electrode pattern 1. Since an area where an edge part of the electrode pattern is brought into contact with toner is increased, a formed image becomes extremely clear. Successively a space between the electrode patterns 1 is filled and the electrode pattern 1 is coated with polyimide resin as an insulating resist 4. No short circuit between the electrodes via the toner occurs, and a clear image is formed.

In case of continuing the printing state, since the toner flux does not become long, even if it stretches; the width of the printing dot becomes proper without delaying the rising of the impressed pulse even if the width of the impressed pulse keeps T. Thus, the clear high resolution image recording can be obtained.

Therefore, the magnetic field generating means 5 where the magnetic power at the side conveying the sheet member 4 to the transfer part is bigger than the magnetic power at the side conveying the sheet member 4 from the transfer part is the rectanguler permanent magnet composed of a permalloy and the like, and those two magnetic poles are positioned parallel to the sheet member 4 of the transfer part. Thus, the magnetic power at the side conveying the sheet member to the transfer part becomes bigger than the magnetic power at the side conveying a carbon member from the transfer pat, and the good transfer is executed.
