    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lock the start adequately in response to a permitted voltage value for each induction motor and a circuit voltage value during the start of the induction motor by locking the closing of a power source switch if the circuit voltage value is lower than the permissible start value of the induction motor. SOLUTION: A permissible start voltage of each induction motor calculated in advance by the impedance or the like of a transformer is set to an induction motor permissible start voltage data file 13 by data input key board 15. And if there is a closing command for a certain induction motor power source switch 4, a circuit voltage value at that time and permissible start voltage value of that induction motor are compared to each other by a computing element 16; if the circuit voltage value is lower, then an excessive voltage drop due to start current is prevented by locking the start permit signal 18. By doing this, the start of induction motor can be adequately operated and controlled for each induction motor by removing previous extreme restriction on the start.

SOLUTION: In a thermal power generating equipment provided with a high pressure turbine bypass valve and a low pressure turbine bypass valve, a calculation means 29 is provided in which the allowable opening of the low pressure turbine bypass valve is set as a function of a turbine output which is determined by the tolerance dose of a high pressure turbine, the actual output 27 of the turbine and the actual opening 28 of the low pressure turbine bypass valve are input, and the actual opening and allowable opening of the low pressure turbine bypass valve are compared from each other. When the actual opening of the low pressure turbine bypass valve exceeds the allowable opening while the high pressure turbine bypass valve is fully closed 22, the low pressure turbine bypass valve is suddenly closed forcibly so as to trip the turbine.

A deviation between actual repeat steam pressure 16 and it is obtained based on the set pressure, proportional integration operation 18 is done to adjust a degree of opening of a low pressure turbine bypass valve 8, and output of the intermediate and low pressure turbine is controlled in such a manner that it is higher than output at the time of normal high and intermediate pressure operation.

    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to set a distance relay coordinated with a protective equipment on the power transmission line side by changing the value of an input voltage of the distance relay by using a resistor depending on the operating conditions of other generators. CONSTITUTION:If a plurality of generators T, 8 and 9 are connected to a power transmission bus 3, a current 12 decreases so that an impedance 2 seen from the distance relay 10 becomes larger than the line impedance up to the actual short-circuit point. At this time, among the inputs of short-circuit back-up protection distance relay 10, the voltage of the distance relay 10 is reduced by resistors 25 to 27 having respectively different resistance values switched by auxiliary contacts 19 to 20 of the generators 7, 8 and 9 in an input circuit of voltage (PT secondary voltage) as generator information, by which the value of generator voltage V seen from the distance relay is virtually made smaller in response to the change in T1, and the result V/11 is made constant. In this way, by making constant the impedance seen from the distance relay 10, the protection range can be made constant regardless of the number of operating units of generators.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minify possibility of unnecessary operation to the utmost so as to prevent unnecessary turbine trip from generating by transmitting a signal from a computer, exciting the quick closing solenoid valve of a low pressure bypass valve, and forcedly quickly closing the low pressure turbine so as to perform turbine trip. SOLUTION: For preventing an injury of a high pressure turbine due to what is called erroneous opening that a low pressure turbine bypass valve is opened during full closing 22 of a high pressure turbine bypass valve, output of a turbine and low pressure turbine bypass flow are inputted. When the low pressure turbine bypass flow is over the setting conformed to the bearing quantity of a high pressure turbine even in transition, a signal indicating erroneous opening of the low pressure turbine bypass valve is output from a computer 29. By the signal 25 from the computer 29, the low pressure turbine bypass valve is forcedly quickly closed so as to perform turbine trip. Hereby unnecessary trip of the turbine due to unnecessary operation of a protection device can be avoided to the utmost, by setting a function to be a very close value to a bearing quantity curve.
