摘要： PURPOSE:To prolong the working life of a precoat assistant, in a powdery ion- exchange resin precoat type water purifier for purifying pure water, by performing the operation to temporarily lower differential pressure for filtration before differential pressure in a filtering column rises and reaches a rated value. CONSTITUTION:Before a value indicated by a differential pressure gauge 10 reaches a working life, an inlet valve 14 and an outlet valve 13 are closed, and a precoat inlet valve 11 and a precoat outlet valve 12 are opened. That is, a filtering column 9 is switched from water-intake system to a precoat step and then held by a precoat pump so that a flow speed in the column 9 is made smaller than a flow speed in the column 9 for water intake. Consequently, the compression ratio of a precoat assistant can be alleviated, and the precoat assistant is made bulky. On the other hand, by continuing the operation of a pump 8, the value indicated by the differential pressure gauge 10 becomes smaller with the increase in volume of the precoat assistant and calms down at a fixed value. Thereafter, the column 9 is returned into an ordinary water-intake state by opening the valves 14, 13 and closing the valves 11, 12.

摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce the introduction of clads into a reactor and to avoid a radioactive contamination which might be caused by an accident of an installation, by splitting corrosion products from a used resin of a desalination tower in a condensation cleaning system of an atomic power plant, and removing the separated corrosion products only. CONSTITUTION:A resin is carried from a desalination tower 1 through a conduit 3 to a separating tower 5. In this transportation, the resin flows as an aqueous slurry through a spiral conduit, so that frictions between each resin grain are increased enough to mechanically split clads. The resin slurry suspending the clads is then carried to the resin-clad separating tower 5, where the slurry is rotated as a whirlpool stream by sloshing water lines 6, 7. Consequently, the clads centrifugally float upwards in the separating tower due to the specific gravity difference between the resin and the clads. The floating clads are discharged to a waste disposer through a draining line 8 attached to the upper part of the tower. On the other hand, the regenerated resin is returned through a regenerated resin carrying line 9 to the spiral conduit for splitting clads in the conduit, and to the separating tower 5 again for separating the split clads.
