    • PURPOSE:To contrive to make the electric power plant compact by constructing the fundamental base in which several fuel cells can be installed as a block so as not to expose the common piping of the fuel gas and the exhaust gas to the outside environment. CONSTITUTION:The fundamental base 2 in which several fuel cells can be installed is constructed with three rooms of the connection piping room 4, the low temperature room 5, and the high temperature room 6 like a box. In the low temperature room 5 the common supply piping 7, 8 of the fuel gas for the anode and the cathode, in the high temperature room 6 the common exhaust gas piping 9, 10, and in the connection piping room 4 the all kinds of piping for connection of the cell 1 to the piping 7-10 are installed respectively. And on the inside of each room 4-6 the common thermal insulator device 11 is provided to prevent the deterioration of the efficiency due to the heat radiation. After fixing the cell 1 on the upper surface the construction of the base is completed by performing the piping. Therefore the power plant of the fuel cell can be made compact and also the work such as installation can be simplified.

    • PURPOSE:To increase temperature and pressure easily and quickly at starting of operation by installing a combustion chamber near a gas inlet of turbine, and forming passages for supplying a part of fuel and a part of exhaust gas from a cathode to the combustion chamber. CONSTITUTION:A combustion chamber is installed in a gas inlet of a gas turbine, and passages for supplying a part of fuel cell fuel and a part of exhaust gas from a cathode of fuel cell are formed. A fuel cell power generating plant is started in such a way that a part of fuel gas is introduced into a combustion chamber 29 of the inlet of a gas turbine 34 to operate the gas turbine, then a compressor 8 is drived by the gas turbine, and compressed air and fuel are supplied to a cathode 7 and an anode 6 respectively to increase pressure, then a part of fuel is supplied to a catalyst burner 18 and residual fuel is bypassed to supply to the combustion chamber to gradually increase temperature of a mixture gas for supplying to the cathode, and the temperature of fuel cell is increased. Thereby, installation cost, preliminary fuel, and starting loss can be decreased.

    • PURPOSE:To make the dismantling work of the lid for water chamber safe and shorten a time spent for the work by a method wherein a traveling device, equipped with a hanging fitment, is mounted on a guide rail while a wheel supporting device is attached to a hole for a clamping bolt. CONSTITUTION:The traveling device 12, equipped with a hanging fitment, is mounted on the guide rail 11 attached to a rest 1 and is arranged at the center part of the lid 4 for water chamber. A wire rope 9 is connected to the handing fitment 24 attached to the upper part of the lid 4 for water chamber and the slack of the rope is tightened. A guide plate 14, having the same angle as the installing angle of the lid 4, is attached to the beam 13 of building, which is below the lid 4, in parallel to the guide rail 11. Bolt 21 and nut 22 are removed, the lid 4 is afloated in parallel by a releasing bolt and the wheel supporting device 15, equipped with a wheel 17, is attached to the hole 23 for bolt below the lid 4. The wheel 17 is abutted against the guide plate 14 and the lid 4 is hung by the traveling device 12, thereafter, the lid 4 is moved along the upper guide rail 11 and the lower guide plate 14 to the front of neighboring water chamber. Thus, the operation of hanging the lid 4 in air and the converting work of the same are not necessitated, therefore, the dismantling work becomes safe and a time necessary therefor may be shortened.
