    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate external adjustments for a power application start signal, a current-setting value or the like by forming a power supply for operation, in matching with a current setting value via a timing setting unit installed within the power supply itself. SOLUTION: A current-setting value Ir is preliminarily sent from a setting device 7 to a current instruction unit 2. When a power supply start signal (s) is sent from a timing generation device 8, a power supply start signal Sn for a power supply is outputted, and a current-setting value Ir is outputted from the current instruction unit 2 to a power supply control part 4. In addition, the power supply control part 4 sends output current Id to a load 9, according to the current-setting value Ir. An output current Id is detected with a current detector 5, and compared with the current setting value Ir in a deviation detector 6 for the calculation of a deviation ε. The deviation ε is fed back to the power supply control part 4, and control is made so that the output current Id approaches close to the current setting value Ir.     • PURPOSE:To efficiently apply load duty to a breaker and to prevent the generation of erroneous operation due to noise by combining individual units each consisting of a power supply detection circuit, a delay circuit and a load state detection circuit and controlling the same in a cooperative state. CONSTITUTION:The start signal from a test starting apparatus 7 is detected by a test start signal detection circuit 8 to be applied to a power supply detection circuit 9 detecting a power supply state. The power supply detection circuit 9 judges whether a main power supply 1 is matched with the application condition prescribed to a switch to be tested and, when the power supply 1 reaches said condition, a control switch 2 is closed. Subsequently, the separate start signal of the test starting apparatus 7 is detected by a detection circuit 10 to be applied to a delay circuit 11 and the switch 3 to be tested is closed at a predetermined time and the duty set based on the application condition is applied to the switch 3. A load state is detected by a load state detection circuit 13 and each unit is insulated by optical connection and a tester is isolated from noise.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the number of components and improve stabilizing accuracy, by a method wherein a starting circuit and a starting switch circuit are provided to separate a frequency and a duty setting mode upon starting from the same upon stabilizing operation. CONSTITUTION:An inputted AC voltage is rectified and smoothed by a rectifier circuit 2 and a capacitor 3. When a main switch 60 is thrown, a DC voltage is impressed on a starting circuit 61, a starting switch circuit 62 is being put ON for some period of time and a control voltage is supplied from a terminal 55 to the signal setting terminal 64 of a control circuit 63, generating a signal determining the frequency and the duty of a switching circuit 4. Accordingly, a control signal 66 is determined by the impressing voltage of said terminal 65 during starting the starting circuit 61 and the induced voltages of secondary and tertiary windings 5b, 5c are outputted after rectifying and smoothing them by rectifying and smoothing circuits 68, 69. The smoothing output 69 is impressed on the setting terminal 64 and the starting circuit 61 puts the starting switch circuit 62 ON after a predetermined time constant whereby only said output 69 is impressed on the setting terminal 64.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the voltage rise tolerance of a semiconductor three- terminal element and to prevent the noises mixed through a signal line, by securing the connection between control terminals via the short circuit or a specific impedance when the noise is applied. CONSTITUTION:The DC voltage 22 is connected in the solid line direction of a switch 23 and the voltage is applied to a capacitor 24 to be used as a supply source for pulse voltage. The switch 23 is opened when the application is through with said voltage. In this case, an SCR1a is controlled by a control signal 25 and the DC voltage controlled by the signal 25 is applied to a load 20. Then a switch 26 is applied for application of the pulse voltage to the load 20. While the pulse voltage having a sharp rising rate is applied to an SCR1b connected antiparallel. At the same time, the noises are transmitted via a signal line in response to the discharge of the capacitor 24. Thus the SCR1b has a malfunction. In this case, a switch 26 is short-circuited with both switches 7b and 8b opened respectively. Thus it is possible to cope with the pulse voltage having a sharp rising rate and the mixture of noises. Then the malfunction of the SCR1b can be avoided.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus in which deterioration in image quality, e.g. block distortion and mosquito distortion, is suppressed.
      SOLUTION: A variation detecting means 13 in a microprocessor 9 detects the stop value every unit time through a stop detection circuit 4 and monitors variation in stop value per unit time at all times. When variation in stop value per unit time exceeds a predetermined level due to abrupt change in illumination conditions, the microprocessor 9 controls an encoding compression circuit 10 to increase encoding rate in order to deal with the volume of video information increased through change in conditions. Consequently, missing or reduction in volume of information is lessened at the time of reproduction and deterioration in image quality, e.g. block distortion and mosquito distortion, can be suppressed.
