    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water softening device facilitating piping for installing it to an already constructed bath room, lavatory, or kitchen in a state of after settlement. SOLUTION: In the water softening device having an ion removing means for removing ionic components from city water by using ion exchange resin particles, and a regeneration means for regeneration the ion adsorption performance of an ion exchange resin particles layer by allowing regeneration salt water to act on the ion exchange resin particle layer in a device body case, and being provided with a water receiving port of city water, a water outlet port for discharging soft water in which the ionic components from city water are removed and a discharging water port for discharging regeneration salt water, the device body case is formed in a box shape, and the water receiving port and the water outlet port and the discharging water port are provided at both left and right sides of the device body case.
