    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon dioxide recovery system whose recovery efficiency is improved by restraining lowering of capturing amount of carbon dioxide caused by an increase in the temperature of a capturing material or a container including the capturing material, when a solid carbon dioxide capturing material is used.SOLUTION: In the carbon dioxide recovery system for capturing and separating carbon dioxide from a carbon dioxide-containing gas containing carbon dioxide by using a solid carbon dioxide capturing material, a container for housing the solid capturing material, and a cooling pipe serving as a first cooling means, through which a cooling medium for cooling the capturing material flows down, are arranged at the inside of a wall member forming the container. Thereby, the rise in the temperature of the capturing material housed in the container is restrained by allowing the cooling medium to flow through the cooling pile.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust-gas cleaning apparatus free from sulfur poisoning of a catalyst for removing nitrogen oxides in an exhaust-gas cleaning system of a diesel engine and the like, to solve the problem that a special control system is required for reactivation of the catalyst for removing nitrogen oxides poisoned by sulfur or that fuel consumption is increased in reactivation. SOLUTION: A sulfur-absorbing material including a zeolite carrier is installed at the upstream side of the catalyst for removing nitrogen oxides in an exhaust-gas flow. The catalyst for removing nitrogen oxides is prevented from poisoning by practically preventing the absorbed sulfur from escaping under normal conditions of an internal combustion engine.
